I agree with pretty much everyone commenting here: it's a cute little adventure game. There were a couple of moments where I went "what do I do now?" but the hint wolf got me past those points. About the only really critical thing I can say is: how does this relate to the theme? It's death, for sure, but what about the "of the old" part?

Theme quibbles aside, good game, well done!

Thanks for playing! Each character you reap has part of the theme. Horseman is death of his old head, you reap a ghost that speaks in old English, and the vampires are death of an old tradition. And the witch is just plain older than dirt.

This was a pretty spot on jam submission. Length was perfect, good writing, adorable assets - it all hit the mark. The only thing I would quibble with is a personal aversion to this kind of gameplay that involves checking everything over and over until you finally trigger an effect. But for what it was, it was well executed, and I think easy enough that it will not be frustrating for most players

Thank you very much! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I still haven’t gotten around to playing the other entries but I will soon. :)

Cute aesthetics, witty writing, lighthearted tale. I quite enjoyed this puzzle game. A bit of a point-and-click vibe to it. Wish there were better indicators to tell what sort of things we can interact with but otherwise, this game is short and fun.

Thank you very much for giving it a shot! :D

Lighthearted, short and sweet "adventure" puzzle game. Really liked the cartoony graphics and tuneful soundtrack (tho the transition between maps could use a less abrupt cut between tracks). Puzzles were pretty easy to figure out, tho a couple seemed like they could have had multiple solutions if the game had allowed it. This could be a really fun full-fledged game if, as the story progressed, the puzzles grew more elaborate and the solutions required the player to solve them rather than just having the right items, but as is it's the perfect length and complexity for a game jam entry.

Thank you very much for playing! I’ll be sure to check out your entry as well. I’ve been preoccupied on playing games as I just adopted a kitten. And have been busy with that venture! :)

A pretty simple puzzling game, sometimes it makes me confuse because I'm kinda blind to see the environments. I've remember playing one your games before and I should say this is a good entry. Keep up the good work!

Just watched your stream. Thank you for playing it! Yeah the game is supposed to make you think a little bit. Hope you enjoyed it!

This is a good small game, I like the title screen, the music and the graphics. The gameplay and the story are simple with a few jokes here and there.  The lack of indications will make you run around a little but I managed to finish the game after a short while. The game looks great in general but might benefit from more gameplay. You can get above the well at the witch's house by going on the small tree. Another thing is I would have liked being able to access the options in the menu.

Nice work!

This game is pretty short once you know what to do. But if you don't know yet, it makes you think outside the box. There are a few points where a hint is needed beyond what is provided, but maybe I didn't pay attention by the time I got past. That said, I feel like this entry delivers on making the player work for it in a fair way!
