The bird could drink water and eat fruit or insects. Meet other birds and take care of the family.
Life is a one-time journey. The overall atmosphere perfectly interprets the theme.
This game is a masterpiece.
Stunning presentation--top marks for art and sound. It's very simple, but emotionally effective. The diegetic timer is also clever.
I found myself wishing the crow could fly.
Always cool to see a 3-D game; the shaders are done well, and everything is super readable. A nice vibey time. Did you make the music for this?
The music was the one thing I didn't make for this (and the shader, and a nature sounds background track). I just looked up free sad piano music and came across one I liked then timed the game to it. I do play piano though and thought about recording my own rendition, but didn't get around to it.
Love the vibe of this one! The music and sound effects are very somber yet cozy. The dither effect looks really good, and is one of the best in this jam in my opinion! The animations on the bird looked a bit stiff, but the model itself was nice and simple. There wasn't a lot to the gameplay, but the small collectables were pretty fun. Cool game!
Really fascinating and cozy! I admit that I didn't understand what I'm supposed to do with the objects the bird picks up. Sad but original ending!
Thanks! There's no purpose for the objects per se, they're just there to provide some symbolism and something to do.
I like the style — the dither filter is the best one I've seen so far. I love the contrast of having so little time left, yet not feeling in immediate hurry. It feels refreshing after playing some of the more difficult jam entries.
