Really cute game! I didn't finish it, but I got a really good feel for it.
My only complaint was that the colliders on the tree didn't make sense. felt like I should have been able to pass between some of the trees. I think having a texture that repeats halfway through the prevous tree would help see it properly, not sure if that make sense.
P.S: I played your game in my stream today if you want to see my live reaction!
Hey thx, glad you liked it
It's really cool to watch someone play your game
Cute game! Really enjoyed your pixel art, and color choices were spot on. Great job adding so many mechanics (questing, housing, inventory, and more) in just 3 weeks. That's quite impressive! One small thing I'd recommend is tweaking your colliders a bit to let the player go behind objects like trees. I couldn't tell what was blocking me from moving a few times. Also, maybe it's just me, but the UI felt a bit overwhelming. All the elements took up a lot of screen space, so possibly just making them smaller would help. But I'm on a 14" laptop, so it might just be a problem on my end. Other than that, great work!
This game has quite a bit of charm, and I found myself spending a good deal of time on it. Despite it being a work-in-progress, you've already got a number of systems working really well. Even the subtle touches, like a change in the music at nightfall, show that you spent a good deal of time working on this. Excellent job!
