I think it would be nice if we could message people privately through itch.io.

We have the discord , so maybe we can use  it until they implement this system here!

I think Leaf already said this several times but basically a PM system is prone to be abused by spammer and such. That's why he won't implement it anytime soon.

Sorry, unlikely we will implement any kind of direct messaging. There are so many tools already available for that and having our own system is too prone for abuse: unsolicited messages, harassment, spam, etc. That’s not really a space we want to get in. If a developer wants to be contacted directly in private then they can opt to provide some contact information on their page.
