Lately ive been trying to support and get more content from artists that ive enjoyed, but currently there's been changes in the itch io site, which i can only think that paypal or payment systems are getting in the way of my choices, one part is getting stuck in a loop with paypal systems having to repeativly log in, and verfy my card/id, on loop. ive found myself unable to get the games and art content and very confused as to why paypal is preventing my interests. image of my furtherest attempt at trying to buy a product from itch io, blocked by paypal. 

side note that ive been trying to get past this screen for hours, it puts me into a AI help loop, and theres no work around as far as i know

PayPal is notoriously unpredictable about what it allows and how; but based on what I’ve experienced and been hearing about the latest payment issues, this particular situation looks like a problem with your accounts.

That sucks, because PayPal customer service is almost non-existent for most clients. One trick that has helped me when there as anything I can other than wait to see if access was restored: sign in to your Paypal account in the browser. Open the page where you want to make the purpose, using the same browser window.

I have the same issue. The weird thing is that I had some PayPal balance in my account, and it worked fine with that money. But when that money ran out and I selected my credit card in PayPal, it got rejected. Then, I selected the credit card option and used the exact same card in my PayPal account, and it worked fine.

Well it just started happening sudenly to me.

And I am from new zealand.

I can transfer cash to paypal direct but really is there an issue.

Pay pal works other places but what do I do about this.

I am emailing itch support but they never reply.
