It doent make sense to develop the game if it doent get any plays

You've asked the same question one week ago too. It would help if you talked to people here in the forum instead of always asking how to get attention. Lots of interesting conversations happening all the time.

You could also work on your presentation. There's no bio in your creator profile. Zero customization. You don't seem to have a site or social media. Your games barely have cover art and no short descriptions or screenshots. Tagging also needs work.

Generally, self-promotion means putting yourself out there constantly, and creating connections with other people. That takes time and effort.

my older post did not got any replies so I made a new one

Also thanks for the information

I've also been trying this since I got to know itch.io, but to no avail ⚡,,, Only when I published a Mod for GTA IV or Geometry Dash version for "Nes" there was a huge and huge interaction that literally exploded the numbers ‼️, We can't stay like this, copyright is waiting for us in the corner 😂😂,,, 😓⚡👨‍💻And also my normal games don't receive much interaction or interest despite several attempts and efforts, but the result? 20 views literally and more A game takes about 200 views as a minimum but 30 played the game or were interested in it, 😓🦊

Hi! I really want my game to reach more people. I post dev logs, promote it on Twitter, upload trailers on YouTube, and reply to every single comment (even the rare ones!)—but engagement remains minimal. I'm at a loss now. Any proven ways to get more visibility? Or how to get my game featured by @itchio's Twitter account?

Yes, there's one more thing. Keep at it and be patient. And you can try to ping the official Twitter account with a link to your game.

Okay, thank you for your advice!

My recomendation is to make videos on youtube, showing the process creation, and then go to the social networks, facebook for example, and post your progress on there, use the hashtags to get more views, and also be creative for campaign events, for example, there was this nintendo direct that showed AAA games, and you know what other indie devs did??? they got views in their social networks by making a post with a video fo their games and telling that if silksong is announced or showed in the direct they will give away a key for their game, those posts got pretty much attention and they also got their game to be known by the gamers. So be creative... And maybe it is a little to late on the developing but you have to promote your game since the very start of developing...

Use that experience to make better games.
