4D Graphics?

Since 3 dimension graphics have been around for about twenty years, i feel like we should take it up a notch. I have seen some programmers try this, and i want to try my hand at it but i am not sure if A. its possible ( though i am sure it is ) B. The math required to do this ( i'm in high-school so not a very high level of education ) and C. Would it look more 'realistic' or something (note graphics are not my thing so looking real does not matter to me ), i am sort of rambling on so i guess i will stop here.

Given that the 4th dimension is time, I'd say that any animated 3D object is indeed 4D, since you can see it's various iterations through time. I'm joking, but it's not too far from truth.

I doubt it would look more realistic, because i'm pretty sure you won't really be able to 'see' anything 4d. what you'd see would be strange 3d projections of 4d objects, and nothing that looks like reality. our brain is built for 3d, and the 4th dimension is perceived as time.

I had a feeling but wasn't sure hehe, thanks though ;)

I always thought of the 4th dimension as time. So i guess that would be animation.

Slightly off-topic, but a random concept if anyone is interested: (Not necessarily graphics specific)

Maybe you could introduce 4th, 5th, and 6th dimensions that are representations of some form of energy. So just like something can grow taller, wider, or gain depth; it can gain more of Energy Y or Energy X, or Energy Z.

So an object from the X/Y/Z 3D perspective might look like a sphere, but maybe this object from the perspective of the EX/EY/EZ 3d perspective might look human or like an animal.

(I guess this could also used to represent spirituality, also)

Game-wise: You have to get the ball into one of the holes. But for some reason you cannot get it into some. Maybe when you press some button, you can switch from X/Y/Z into EX/EY/EZ, and you see a different world and different overall form of the object.

Edit: So maybe a 4-6D graphics could be reresented by an entirely separate 3d model. (Trying to relate with the original post somewhat?)
