Hi everyone! I’m looking for indie game developers who would be willing to provide game text for me to practice translating and localizing from English to Japanese. This is purely for practice, so I will do it for free. However, I’d like to use the translated text as part of my portfolio.
I’m a native Japanese speaker + a gamer, so I can ensure the translations feel natural and culturally appropriate.
I’m happy to work on various types of text, whether it’s a small portion or a larger section. I’m not entirely sure what the best format for delivery would be, so I’d love to hear your suggestions on what format would be most suitable (e.g., plain text, spreadsheets, or other formats).
Please note that since this is a practice project, it may take some time for me to complete the translation. Also, if I receive too many requests, I may not be able to take on all of them.
NSFW content will be considered on a case-by-case basis. However, I may have to decline content that is excessively explicit or extreme.
