I already advertised it on the official discord channel for this game jam with people who like games like that and tagged it accordingly. And it worked. I was getting new downloads everyday and managed to reach more than 6.000 downloads. Until this happened and I rarely get any downloads anymore. I didn't do anything wrong when advertising my game.
Yes, it might depend on the game. But it's not fair when games with the same kind of nsfw content aren't shadowbanned like mine. Recently released games with cannibalism, decapitation and sexual assault appear on the search results while games like Sweetest Valentine(and Infectious Doctor) get to be shadowbanned. My game was doing so well before being shadowbanned. But thanks to this whole mess, the download number stagnated and I might not get the same visibility ever again.

I can't find my game, Infectious Doctor, when I type the name of the game on the search bar nor when I click on one of the tags. The game does indeed have harassment, but it's never portrayed in a positive light. Meanwhile, I saw similar new games with sexual assault being released recently that can be found if you search it on the search bar so I don't think the way my game is being handled is fair. It has body horror because it's a horror game and the villain harasses the protagonist, but there is no rape nor anything explicit. I may have put a few inaccurate things on the "trigger warning" because the game was submitted to a game jam and because players interpret scenes differently. Thank you for your attention.
