Original title: quick way to refund a customer ?

Hello,

I just put my game as donationware, and with it I just got my first unhappy costumer as he/she is unable to run the game...

Is there a quick way to refund this person ?   :/

Thanks !

Edit 2024:

Find the purchase from your dashboard via the Earnings > Payments section. Click on the details link and find on the bottom a link that says “Issue refund…”.

This will take you to a page where you can submit a request to the itch.io team to process a refund for you. Please provide details about why you’re requesting the refund. At this time all refunds must be approved by a staff member. In the future we may allow refunds to be issued automatically if your account is in good standing, but the instructions will remain the same.

Note: If you are using our “Direct payments” system you may also initiate a refund via the payment processors dashboard. (Stripe or PayPal). Our system will automatically be notified by the payment processor and disable the purchase page on itch.io.

Thanks

Direct them to e-mail support@itch.io and request a refund. Right now it's the only way.
