Spam of potentially malicious software in the Adult/NSFW sections

In the recent few hours, I have noticed that someone is spamming software with a file size of either 241 MB or 445 MB. That Person or Group uses names, images, videos and description texts from other games. The Accounts never published a game before and for each game a new Account is used.  In some uploads, the person says you have to disable your Antivirus to download it. I don't know what the download contains but I don't think it is anything good and I'm almost certain that the Original Copyright holders didn't give permission to use their game names and advertisement pictures. I don't know if other sections other than Adult/NSFW (and related sections) are affected by this.

I wanted to create this topic to spread awareness of this and warn others.

Please use the report tool to help point out team to investigate the accounts: https://itch.io/t/2067937/how-to-report-game-pages-the-right-way

Please report any such page you find using the little Report link in the footer. Thanks.

If you're serious about warning people, then try being more specific.  I think we're all aware that there is malware and pirated software on itch, but that doesn't tell us what specific games are malware and which are genuine.  You did give a specific file size which is helpful but not as helpful as specific examples.

Or just report the malware and let the admins take care of the problem.

The file size is the only thing they have in common. The Uploader uses the Names, game descriptions and pictures of other NSFW/Adult games and I don't really want to bad-mouth the original games but if you look at the patterns I describe it should be easy to find them. All are uploaded by different Accounts with the comment section being disabled and no links to for example a Patreon or a Discord. The person has uploaded about 20 or more "games" in the adult section in the last few days.

Most of them look like:

Title: Game name - NSFW game
Windows only. Download only. Comments disabled.
Reminding players to disable antivirus to install in the description.

what are these crackers? drug dealers or something?
"Hey kid, you want some NSFW games? Try these ones! They are safe and free. TRUST me!"

If they turn out to be safe then they will remain on itch and the developer can be noted and queried on why they recommend turning off malware detection. Some safe games can be detected as malware occasionally but this is usually an issue for the developer to either take up with a particular antivirus program or to fix the game itself so there are no more false flags
