Why do most of the spam threads advertise Keto stuff?

At least all the ones I've seen anyway.

Just advertisements for keto stuff. Specifically keto.

Do the bots think I'm fat?

Do bots dream of electric sheep?

And CBD oil. General supplements really. I'm genuinely curious about the backstory of whoever's doing this. Is it someone in a sweatshop somewhere? Is it a guy who's written a bot program and is advertising a "promote your business to millions" scam company and 'big' keto and CBD are his clients? I'm picturing someone in India for some reason.

If you are the one doing this, and you happen to read this thread, please reply. Who are you? What do you want in life? Will you please stop?

If they're targeting game forums, apparently they're stereotyping gamers and game developers as a bunch of overweight pot smokers. Sooo way off the mark.

Wow, the bots are really back with a vengeance. I hope this thread didn't encourage him.

If he's also the one confessing to a murder, I wouldn't be at all surprised...

The ad ones are easy to spot and filter, but there are the other bots that are much more subtle.

I know not their workings, but they register an account, choose a thread, gather the general topic of the thread, then produce some text that is vaguely in relation to the topic in an attempt to look like part of the conversation. All of that happens within a few minute time span. Right now they’re possible to spot and report, but in a few years?
