Download 2.25 for Conquest

Meant to help assist with renaming files in a portrait pack to follow the tags. Assists with viewing and setting tags for a portrait collection by renaming the portrait and body files in sync

What's New?

Custom filters. Want to list only portraits of Demons with Red hair? Or all Adults, no Males, without Breast Tags? Click the Filter button a few times and go nuts.

Added Fuse/Separate checkbox, and the ability to create new Portraits by cropping current image.

Maybe I'm just dumb but, how do I launch this editor? Even when I launch it with Java I just get a white window.

it won't work any better, but it will log most errors in "error.log" which you can send to me

This version somehow works even less :/
With the 2.15 version at least a window opens but, with the 2.17 test version nothing happens at all.
Idk if that is helpful information.

Sorry, did you place the new .jar in the old folder?

2.17 only contains the .jar file, it uses the other files from 2.15

It should create the window, immediately close,

and then there should be a file "error.log"

Otherwise, I'm not sure. It might be the Java version you have installed

hello, i don't know what i'm doing wrong here but when i add new images and create the portraits the body images load ingame but the portraits don't and i get the invalid image error...

i would be glad if you could help me, I'm pretty stupid at this stuff

Might be a filetype issue

Can you share any of the images in question? (in the S4P discord, if that's easier)

I have no idea how to use this.

It also keeps defaulting to MyDocuments (bad), browsing i horrible (baarely reacts at all) and no opening any images

Weird. Does not want to open

D:\Modding\Strive\STRIVE_Portraits\FINAL_IMAGES\

But opens

D:\Modding\Strive\STRIVE_Portraits\

When I try to filter The Race column disappears, and ONLY that column. Not sure if it's because of settings.json changes or something else. Any advice? Otherwise the filters work fine. I just can't filter by race. I can tag races just fine. It's only filtering that won't show up. The whole column is just...not there.

Oh good. So it's probably not something I did XD That's nice to know, at least. I'll check back later then. :3 I'm in no real rush, as it doesn't impact much, but I thought I'd mention it just in case other people had the same problem or I messed something up. Thanks for the great work!~

If Java is installed, just double click the .jar file

It's set up to connect with a pre-existing S4P: Conquest installation

This doesn't work on Linux (and I'm surprised if it works on Mac). I believe the problem is that it has a bunch of Windows path separators hardcoded. For instance, when constructing the paths where portraits are held, it has logic like this:

String bodies = packDirectory + "\\bodies\\";

Java is smart enough to convert forward slashes to system-specific separators, but it doesn't convert backslashes in the same way. This can be fixed by just using forward slashes or by intentionally using File.separator.

If this application is on source control somewhere, I'd consider submitting a patch.

Wow you're quick!

There is still a problem. You may have just missed a spot, because I'm getting filenames that look like this:

Human\Female\Mature+Adult+Teen\auburn+fairSkin+TitsF+AssT+Shoulder+Straight+eyeBlue+germaine.png

That's the whole filename, not the path.

The presence of the backslashes suggests there's still a hardcoded backslash in there somewhere.

It's in the settings.json file

The double slashes get loaded directly

Now it converts the '\\' in the .json file into File.separator

The new logic seems to be treating the `/` as a kind of tag.

Specifically, that line is looking for a key named `/` instead of one of the actual tag names (like `Races`). It's likely that PortraitObject.apply needs to be updated to handle `/` instead of `\\`. It also wouldn't hurt to throw a little null safety in there.

This bug might also affect Windows, now that I think about it.

It just needed a minor change. Here's a patch: https://pastebin.com/SUsNdKn6

The only important change is to GUIFactory. The other changes were just necessary to let me build and run the project in IntelliJ.

This should be compatible with all platforms, but I suggest you give it a quick spin on Windows, particularly paying attention to the save path when you press Apply.
