Please share the beats you’ve made in the beatmaker here! You can listen to other people’s beats and play them as normal levels too.

To share a beat you’ve made:

1. In the beat making screen click the share button (button with 3 dots)

2. You can also select the beat in the level select screen (using the cassettes on the right) and click the share button there.

3. Copy the text that is displayed

4. Paste that text in this thread so other people can load it!

To load/play someone else's beat:

1. Copy their beat text from this thread

2. On the menu screen, click the button with the cassette and arrow in the bottom right hand corner.

3. Paste the beat text into the note paper:

4. A play button will appear on the right, click this to load the beat.

5. Either click 'PLAY' to play the beat as a normal level, or click 'EDIT BEAT' to listen to the complete beat. You can edit it here too if you like.

This game is really cool and unique. The limitations of using only four notes introduced me a new kind of workflow to produce my music (e.g creating F major 7 by omitting the third interval, changing their position , which created a very nice and lush sounding chord) :) I tried to make the beat hip-hop & chill-hop like. I dunno:D

Hey thanks very much, sounds cool! I liked the 'swung'/lofi rhythm hihats, that was cool to see :)

Yeah it's interesting for me too being limited to 4 notes per instrument for making music for the game. I sometimes have to split melodies between instruments things like that, and also the beat length can't be that long, however because the music comes in one layer at a time I feel like I can be a bit more dense with the instrumentation, as it's less overwhelming than hearing it all in one go... It's an interesting way to work! Also it's a bit less daunting than having to come up with a whole song with different sections etc.

Yeah, the A track is my fave too, thank you! This game combines several things I love: Rhythm games, point n' click games, hidden object games, making music, and cats. It truly is a spectacular game! It did get a little bit laggy at some parts, but otherwise great game.

Hey that sounds cool, thanks for sharing! :) I'm not sure about layering all the notes so it sounds distorted, it's kind of a cool effect but a little overwhelming. Was that intentional? Or did you find the delete button inconvenient to use when recording multiple takes?

Actually there was recently an update, there's a random beat generator mode now! If you click the black and red button on the top right of the menu screen you can try it out. But you're right that there haven't been any new levels added to this version, if you sign up to be a playtester: here , you'll be able to try the new levels early when I next do a playtest release. (There's about 18 finished so far)
