Please share the beats you’ve made in the beatmaker here! You can listen to other people’s beats and play them as normal levels too.

To share a beat you’ve made:

1. In the beat making screen click the share button (button with 3 dots)

2. You can also select the beat in the level select screen (using the cassettes on the right) and click the share button there.

3. Copy the text that is displayed

4. Paste that text in this thread so other people can load it!

To load/play someone else's beat:

1. Copy their beat text from this thread

2. On the menu screen, click the button with the cassette and arrow in the bottom right hand corner.

3. Paste the beat text into the note paper:

4. A play button will appear on the right, click this to load the beat.

5. Either click 'PLAY' to play the beat as a normal level, or click 'EDIT BEAT' to listen to the complete beat. You can edit it here too if you like.

This game is really cool and unique. The limitations of using only four notes introduced me a new kind of workflow to produce my music (e.g creating F major 7 by omitting the third interval, changing their position , which created a very nice and lush sounding chord) :) I tried to make the beat hip-hop & chill-hop like. I dunno:D

Hey thanks very much, sounds cool! I liked the 'swung'/lofi rhythm hihats, that was cool to see :)

Yeah it's interesting for me too being limited to 4 notes per instrument for making music for the game. I sometimes have to split melodies between instruments things like that, and also the beat length can't be that long, however because the music comes in one layer at a time I feel like I can be a bit more dense with the instrumentation, as it's less overwhelming than hearing it all in one go... It's an interesting way to work! Also it's a bit less daunting than having to come up with a whole song with different sections etc.
