this was a waist of money I bought this to have fun and make some projects form itch.io and after watching a bunch of tutorials on how to export it none of them work

Not sure what you're talking about, exporting projects works fine

https://pico-8.fandom.com/wiki/Export

html export works just fine when uploaded to itch, even has built in mobile functionality.

I downloaded it from the pick 8 website I wonder if that changes anything

gey there @game_jammer, I did this:

export my_game.bin

folder

then find my_game.bin.

did that work?/did you do that?

that worked thanks

you can also do the same thing but with mygame.html instead of .bin

you need to do that because if you dont you save it as a png

Hello!

pico-8 saves your file as a .p8 file, which is a modded version of a png.

:)

yes you can. just look at the PICO-8 wiki. :)

But you can...?

open PICO8, open your project and type "export exportedgame.bin" for windows, or "export exportedgame.html" for HTML5

you might need to press F2 to capture a cover image of your game.
