Is there currently a large backlog of support email requests?

We emailed support@itch.io 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back, other than the zendesk autoresponder. We've replied to that a couple of times chasing them up, but still haven't heard anything.

The last time we got in touch (Dec 2020), it took 2 weeks to get a response.

Aside from this, is there any quicker way to get in touch?

You can ping the official account on Twitter, or drop by the Discord server, if either of these suit you. But a lot of requests can only be handled by support, and the load has been very high in recent months.

This is definitely one for support! Thanks though - will try those if we don't hear anything for another few days.

There are a lot of factors that can affect ticket priority, and it can also depend on what you’re asking. In this case, I don’t see any tickets associated with your account, meaning you probably emailed in with a different address. If you need support for your account you must contact us using the email address that owns the account so we can prioritize it, otherwise we may just respond to email again with the correct address. Hope that helps!

Also, if you want us to find your ticket from a topic like this you should include your ticket ID. Thanks

Ah, fair enough - we use a different sending address so that'd make sense. If you're happy to take a look, the ticket ID is 75985.
