I'm participating in the current sale and wanted to post the link to my sale in Release Announcements.  For some reason, though, even though I had a description, link to the itchio page and 2 photos, I was getting an error saying I was missing something.  Why is that happening?

Is there a chance you were banned from posting in Release Announcements? It is a board meant for posting when you’ve published a new project, instead of posting updates for your project (like sales).

You can use Devlogs for posting updates for your projects.

That should show up if you’ve forgotten to include something in your post. Is it worth checking your post again to confirm you’ve included everything the rules require? This would be the case if the error message looked like this:

Your post is missing something that the rules require. Please read the rules before posting.

That's the thing, though.  I went and compared what I had in my post with what the rules require and it matched up.  Yet, it wouldn't let me post.   Maybe it's just that I posted in the wrong place or something.  I'm not sure.
