Tower Defense + Idle, where you play for both sides! · By
Looks like the rockster is not worth it; the way upgrades for all kinds go up for it along with the measly payoff does not make the 10s spawn time worth it. You may want to balance that one a bit as well, I get way more by optimizing bally with 4 gunshot / 2 spikes / 3 lasers... Getting bally to 51.20K% and rockster to 400% are similarly priced, which basically means that I can get 5K+ from Bally several times per second, or get 28K from rockster after a minute or so...
Hello nerdError,
I originally found this whilst playing ProductionIdle, which I enjoyed and slightly disappointed that it wasn't developed more, but heyho.
Dualforce looks nice, and seems enjoyable, butI have run out of thing to do now, just collect more upgrade points.
Whilst at first it was enjoyable to play, this game definitely needs more maps, maybe randomly generated on prestige, more enemies to choose from, and definitely needs to fix rocky. Even though I am stuck with the endless upgrade, it still isn't worthwhile to select rocky. I would suggest an option to select the ratio of released monsters, as in 'Generate 20 bally, then 1 rocky', or maybe generate all possible rockies, then until they are all defeated, only generate bally.
Also, allow the instant spawn to be upgraded to 100%, because with the laser and gun upgraded up the wazoo, the spawn timer is now the limiting factor, not trying to kill the little sods. Or maybe introduce harder modes after a certain prestige point count. Like I have over 1 million prestige coins, so maybe now I can unlock the harder mode, with a evil and nightmare at similar intervals, where bally and rocky are made more profitable and harder to kill.
But more than all that, this needs some variety on how to defeat the monsters. Different weapons and buildings, with maybe a limited slot selection on each prestige, and prestige unlocking new weapons. Make the maps randomly generate squares that assist bally in going faster, or pick up extra shield, or a regenerative ability for a limited time.
Thanks for reading,
Looking forward to new updates,
Kindly,

Great game! I like the graphics and the UI feels well laid out to me, plus the faces the Ballys have are funny :P It's pretty entertaining until you finish whats available, perhaps while working on new enemies and turrets and such, some kind of quest system could work to provide stuff to do once the player has completed most of the current game? e.g. "kill 40 bally for X amount of RP". I'm not sure how easy that'd be to implement so its just a suggestion!
I also enjoyed the variety of upgrades, and though limited, the enemies and turrets/buildings provide enough variety for now to be interesting too! Though mentions of the shields in the spike description confused me until I unlocked the shield upgrade lol :P
All in all, I had fun and I'm excited to see more! :D
(Editing to add: The copy & paste save is a good idea, but with so many characters whenever I try to paste it in, it lags and I have to reload c': Might just be my computer, but would it be possible to reduce the characters needed anyway?? If not then it's not too big of an issue since the game seems to be loading my save automatically thankfully :P)
it's fun, at first. that's for sure, just... after you get rockster, things get boring. it's just upgrading, and maybe clicking. sure, you start from scratch every rebirth, but your towers and unlocks don't reset. i know this can be frustrating, but you wouldn't *lose* them, in a sense as like, gone forever, moreso having to buy them back. i'd say that would make it more fun, but, i don't know. i'm not the best person to be giving advice.
This game is really fun, especially during the midgame. Once you start reaching the point where you're gaining thousands of prestige coins per prestige, though, it starts to get a bit boring, and just comes down to upgrades. Having more variability of gameplay might be nice, like a strong boss spawning in over a long period of time. More towers and enemies would be great, too! Looking forward to any new content.
