Hey everyone! Since the winter sale is coming up, I want to make a co-op asset bundle with a team of 4-5 people.

Some information:

  • ASSETS ONLY.
  • The bundle will cost $5-$10 depending on the price of the entries.
  • Revenue will be split evenly among all developers.

Make sure to advertise the bundle if your asset makes it, as it's one of the only ways to attract potential customers.

Hi r3sgame,

This sounds great.  I'd like to be a part of this.  Here's the asset pack I'd like to have included danielles-games.itch.io/3d-food-pack

Hi r3sgame,

of you are interested, i could add some of my 2D-Assets  to the bundle

This bundle is long gone, sorry...

Is anybody here interested in doing this bundle for the Lunar New Year 2021 sale?  I have Music and SFX assets for inclusion. If not, would anybody be interested in joining together for a bundle with other creators?

Hi,

I would, but I don't know if it's going to work for me.  I read,  somewhat recently,  that if you're in a bundle itchio pays you directly.  I'm using Paypal for my payments, so I'm not sure how that would work.

Hey,

Hm, well this would be my first co-op bundle so I'm not 100% sure, though having read the details on hosting a co-op bundle: https://itch.io/docs/creators/bundles

It says: 'Due to the complexity of distributing purchases across multiple sellers, all purchases of co-op bundles go through itch.io’s payout system. Prices are done in USD and VAT will automatically be added if necessary.' and when you click on the link for itch.io's payout system it take me to the normal payout page that I use, and I use paypal. So maybe it would be fine.

Thinking about it, I would guess the majority of users use paypal, so it would make sense for it to work that way.

Ok, so, I came upon a thread where someone was in a bundle and trying to work out payment details.  What I found out is that, if you're in a bundle, itchio has to do the paying.  It was mentioned that they can pay to a Paypal account, but it still has to be itchio that pays you.  Here's the thread if you want to take a look at it.
