Ok, great that you got it fixed. I played your game for a while now and first of all: Both the visuals and the music are quite cool, even tho a few environment animations would have been cool to make it feel a bit more alive. The 2D lighting/Shadows and the black and white already achieve a great atmosphere tho!
I also quite like the general idea of making a puzzle game with quantum tunneling as the main mechanic. However, I think the gameplay needs some more depth. Maybe some sort of hints or a mechanic to mark the path you have taken. Another cool thing might be speech bubbles with your character saying some minor hints or jokes. While there always is room for improvement, I think you did quite well for the limited time of the jam and I hope you had fun creating it.
I totally agree with the previous comment. I had way more fun with this game then I expected. I like that you took the time to add the "Analyze"-View, even tho I found it to be a bit confusing at the beginning. The only two things I think the game is missing is maybe some background music(which is obviously hard to do in such a short timeframe) and maybe a bit more organized main menu, but overall you did a great job and you can be proud of what you created for the jam.
Hey, thank you for the feedback. I 100% agree with "Hooks are great", I love movement-based games :D
The physics definitely needs some work and I will fine-tune them in the next update. I really like the idea of allowing the player to
propel himself over ledges. I will have a look into implementing it soon.
Wow, very interesting concept and great execution. Maybe even something to buildup on after the jam with harder difficulties like longer sequences or (if you want to leave the idea of binary behind) more tones. The only thing that would be great is an online scoreboard, but I guess that's not something to add in a 3-hour game jam xD. Still: Great game, especially considering the fact that you made it in just 2 hours.
Hey, I really love the pixelation effect, even tho it makes me feel a bit dizzy as Blueberry_Mauro said. Maybe you could try excluding the background from the pixelation effect by rendering the player using another camera, pixelating that and using the render texture as a sprite. Still, great submission, really enjoyed playing it. :)
Thank you very much.^^ We actually got the inspiration from an episode of the German series called "Tatort" but they probably got inspired by Groundhog day, so... whatever xD. About the difficulty: I think it's actually a bit too hard, at least as a first level, but because we were just able to finish day 1, we did not want people to win by accident.
Anyways, thank you very much for the nice feedback and we are happy you like it. :D
