Any ideas or things you need? Let me know and I might add them in future versions!

Post any bugs and issues you may encounter here and I'll get to them.

Hey, glad you found a good use for my music, and thank you very much for the credit! ^^

I checked out your game, really cool submission. Great work!

Really fun game! The polish is amazing with all the time-slow, effects, and juicy sounds when a hit lands.

Yes, for the one back in 2020.

Thanks! I appreciate it ^^

Any ideas for improving this pack, or things I should do differently in my next assets? Post them here.

Thank you very much! ^^

Thank you! Glad you like it.

Sorry to hear that you are having technical troubles with my game. Sadly, I really have no idea what could cause those.

Still, thank you for the kind words, and if it ever ends up working, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for the feedback, happy you like it! That's actually a great idea, maybe I could add a short cutscene, in the beginning, to introduce the boss to the player and make clear that thas what the player is working towards.

You're welcome! Yea jams always turn out to be quite the endeavor, but I guess staying up till 5 am makes the accomplishment feel even greater at the end.

This turns from a "kind of relaxing clicker" into "OMG Help! It's so fast!" really quickly.

Simple concept, but a really nice art style, and the lack of music actually is great for this game I think. The popping sound starts off as being quite nice and turns into dread-inducing once it speeds up.

Really cool game! (Throwing my score of 211 in here)

This is great! It's a very unique idea and it's put together extremely well. I love games like overcooked and I think it's really interesting, that in this game, instead of the players working together actively try to hinder each other.

I don't know if you want to continue working on this project after the jam is over, but this really has a lot of potentials. Well done!

You're very welcome and I'm happy I made your day a bit better.
I know exactly how you're feeling, I remember how excited I was when someone sent me a donation for the first time. Glad you learned something and had fun making your game for the jam, that's what they are about after all.  ^^

Wish you the best for wherever your dev-journey takes you.

Super cool game! The pixelart looks excellent and as others have pointed out, it's great that the enemies grow in strength as you do. Maybe a difficulty setting would be cool if you intend to update the game in the future. Good job!

Really cool idea! I was surprised how well you designed the later levels to make them quite challenging without introducing new mechanics. Really fun game, Good job!

You're welcome! If you ever decide to add one, I always use dreamlo.com in the same way as described here. It's super easy, you don't have to worry about server stuff and it's totally free.

Obviously not important at all though, the game is heaps of fun as it is! ^^

Great concept, great execution. Some music would be cool and maybe a scoreboard to compare scores with other players. I really like the pixelart.

Having said that, this being your first game is incredible. Good job, keep up the great work!

This is terrible... where is the donation button?

Thanks, I appreciate it! ^^

While the concept is simple, I am amazed at how polished this feels. The 2D Lighting, the post-processing, particles, screen shake, sound... it all works together and makes this feel pretty much perfect. I didn't experience a single bug, the Ui is great, you can honestly be very proud of this.

The only thing close to feedback are some Ideas:

  • Online leaderboard to compare yourself against how long other players survived
  • Some settings like music volume
  • And maybe some difficulty settings
  • Upgrades might also be something cool to add in the long run (fire rate, explosive bullets, dash, etc.)

I am not joking when I say that this, in the sense of quality, could be a cheap game on steam (which, you know, doesn't mean as much as it did back in the day, but you get what I'm saying).

Here, have 2$, I know it ain't a lot, but you did a really good job with this and you deserve every cent!

You're very welcome. ^^

You're welcome, glad I could help ^^

The movent in your game really feels great and dynamic, which is great. I also really like the visual changes on the gun model when picking up powerups, as well as the overall graphics.

The only negative thing I could say is that I accidentally lost my progress because I thought there was a pause menu on escape (should have read the game's description a bit more), so maybe that would be something you could add. And I feel like the rotation of the gun is a bit odd. Maybe rotate it a bit and move it slightly to the right

That's just a minor issue though and your game really is quite fun, so good job!

Nice UI and very cool music!
The camera is a bit clunky, maybe confining the camera to the game window would already make this work a lot better, but I am not sure if "Cursor.lockState" works in a WebGL build.

Another cool idea for a game like this is a scoreboard to compare yourself to other players!

Regardless of that, good job!

Hey, really happy you like it. A settings menu sounds like a great idea and optimization is definitely needed. Sadly didn't really have the time for that during the last week, but if I'll work further on this game after the rating period, I'll add your suggestions.

Will definitely check out your submission soon, thanks for the feedback!

While I did play this game alone, so controlling both characters at the same time (which made the entire thing even more chaotic I guess), I quite like it. Having the main menu be a level where the different paths lead to the tutorial, levels or the exit is a great idea by the way.
The only thing I think would be cool is if there was an actual consequence for going "out of sync" with the other player. Like "the further you get out of sync, the higher the difficulty gets".

Regardless of that, I like the unique concept. Well done!

Really cool concept well executed. Some sounds and maybe music would have been nice, but obviously not needed.

The game actually gets quite difficult after a while, which is great. I made it to a score of 3937, don't know if that's good or bad, but it was fun getting there. I also really like the "Job Rules" with the "Got it? No" starting the game, lol.

Good job, you made a very cool game!

Wow, this is great! You got a tutorial, nice UI, good audio, gameplay that feels very polished, and amazing visuals. I really like the player model, I think I saw a work in progress on discord a few days ago and it really turned out great. Same with all the other models and animations.

Honestly, nothing negative to say about this, it's just great. Good job to you and your team!

Quite enjoyable! While it's simple, there are some really cool ideas in there, like making the player his own health bar, and you executed the concept really well. The only thing that could use some work is audio. Maybe some music would be nice and I honestly got a little bit startled by the first sound when you hit start because I did not expect audio, lol.

Overall, good job! Really cool submission.

Hey, I really like your interpretation of the theme and the little into-story cutscene is a nice addition. Maybe you could shorten the duration at the beginning before enemies spawn (where the player is supposed to read the description of a new power).

Otherwise, well done!

Thanks! Yes, you're right. The events are triggered if specific conditions are met. Some random, some dependent on enemies, level, or other stuff, but the longer a fight goes on, the more likely it is that they occur.

Thank you, good luck to you too and best regards. ^^

Hmm, strange. There is recoil, which maybe was not a great fit for such a fast shooter, but then the bullets should end up above the crosshair, not below. Maybe it's an issue with the UI on different resolutions, can't confirm though. Might check on it after the rating period.

Thanks for the feedback. Really glad you like the game even though there's an issue. ^^

This is such a great approach to introducing chaos! Really love the game and it actually gets quite difficult towards the end.

Must say, I could not think of a better sound for the monkeys. Their constant screaming is honestly just perfect and makes me hate them even more once they push that box of a pressure plate again.

Good job!

Great game! I really like the concept of wild magic and you incorporated it very well into your puzzle/platformer game. And wow, the music you chose fits perfectly. There was one bug where I was not able to use my wand and had to restart, but otherwise, everything worked perfectly.

11/10, would cross that incredibly long bridge at the end again. Good job!

Really happy you enjoyed it! I was actually quite unsure about the recoil once I implemented it because as you said, it's kind of unfitting for this type of game. Ended up leaving it in though, so maybe something to reconsider if I ever end up making an update.

Thanks for the feedback!

Please post any issues you have with this pack here. I'll make sure to address them.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it ^^
