they're meant to be a clue to a secret mechanic. (Next to the dash meter in the top left, there is an emblem that changes when you dash. That emblem represents a letter, and those letters can be figured out using the signs. If you press the corresponding letter with the emblem you get to dash without using the dash meter.)

It's a Mega Man inspired action platformer, and it think it has a really cool style too it with a hidden mechanic. 

I'm not sure if the mechanic works properly, but you can press B while player to increase your movement speed and H to reset your movement speed if you want to slow down. I think if properly used you can beat the game REALLY fast. Thanks again for playing my game!

Wow! This is great! I love the music and the color palette. The gameplay is very old-school arcade in a good way. It kind of reminds me of Donkey Kong. Great work!

Thanks for the feedback! I originally wanted to make a metroidvania, but quickly realized I didn't have time. I've always thought it would be funny to start a metroidvania without a jump

The art direction is so good. I love the creepy/cartoonish vibe, and the animation is great. Fun to play, and a great idea overall! I kept dying before I could reach the end, but I might go back and finish.
