It looks promising.
Good luck with further game development!

It's been over 100 days since my last post here. I forgot about this thread - it's time to remind you a bit about Unending Universe.
The game is running and doing quite well. A fairly large ship balancing update was recently released.

Thank you for reply.
So all we know is that we don't know anything...
I understand and fully support security. I understand that someone has to watch over it. I also understand that there may not be enough people to do this kind of work. That's from a human perspective.
From a dev's perspective, I think that too many devs get undeserved punishments because the algorithm simply states "you are suspicious" for unknown reasons. They usually don't even know why. Unfortunately - this system works preventively, but it's absolutely not effective.
Hello,
First thing - some time ago I wrote a ticket to support. Since then no one has contacted me. Is it possible to check at what stage my ticket is, is it being considered at all, is it in some waiting room?
Second thing - could someone competent describe the rules of quarantine: when it appears, how long it lasts, what changes can cause it? I'm publishing an MMO game on this portal. As is known in this type of game, new updates are regular practice, whether with new things or fixes for found bugs. Does every such change result in a return to quarantine? I'm not asking for details, just a general explanation.
Thank you.
Yes, I stand my ground and that's how it will be. I'm glad that people play UU, that they have some ideas, etc. Just one request - let's not copy too much from BSGO. Over time, there were too many completely wrong things in that game, too much convenience... This is a broad topic and maybe someday there will be an opportunity to talk about it...
What I would like to transfer to UU is the simplicity from the beginnings of BSGO. It really had its magic and atmosphere, and those times suited me the most.
1. Radar range is adequate and this will definitely not change.
2. Phaser ammo - I fought hundreds of duels with drones and other players - visibility of ammo is very good and I don't think that it needs improvement. I tried dozens of settings and these are the ones that suit me the most. I don't want this game to be a "show" of glowing balls.
3. Nearest enemy button - this function is among my scripts (it was even part of the game once) but I decided that it should not be that easy - players should learn to use radar, they should be able to operate the camera well, etc. In addition (something I like the most) the lack of this function gives an advantage to player who attacks by surprise. This is how it should look - if you managed to surprise your opponent, then you have an advantage.
As for new things that are planned - there are several very good ideas for creating new hull components. In addition, there are dozens of other things to do (that are "not visible" from player's perspective) but are necessary to make this game run even better.
Thanks for invitation... I wrote about UU on your discord - I heard about this "quarantine" (surprisingly not from itch.io) and I'm not forcing anyone to download it. I'll add that there are almost 150 downloads to this day and no complaints or grievances from registered players. But everyone has their own choice... There are hundreds of thousands of games, there's plenty to choose from... Anyway - you have a cool idea for presenting games, there was a lot to read on discord... Keep it up.
Dear itch.io admins
I found out that my game was flagged with this information:

Why did you mark my game as a potential scam? Is it decided by an algorithm or by some person and his/her whim? What kind of suspicious behavior is mentioned there? Why did no one contact me and inform me about that info.
It scares people away, who usually decide not to play because itch.io notices the problem and warns about it. Wouldn't it be better to verify published content before making it with available the whole community?
My publication contains nothing but the game and its supporting files - all files included in download packages have been described. There is no malware there, the files are not protected by any password…
If anyone would like to check it out - I will be happy to help, because I have nothing to hide.
I think a good solution would be an email to the publisher, and a note like - "The content you published has been recognized as a potential scam. To gain credibility, follow the guidelines (here's information about what the publisher should do)".
Please, don’t take this topic as some kind of complaint or grievance – none of that. I simply would like to receive information on a topic that is important to me.
Thanks
Two new trailers for both factions, the Humans and the Lokans. Enjoy...
A brand new trailer for Unending Universe. Enjoy :)
Hello :)
If you are looking for a great space adventure Unending Universe is just for you. You can play alone or with friends, you can calmly explore star systems, fight battles or hunt enemies.
I can write a lot, but you really have to play it to judge. I assure you it's worth it.
