I’m glad the project turned out okay, and that it even works at all.

Your comments are spot on, especially about the lack of checkpoints. But the level in this prototype isn’t very long, so I didn’t include them in this version.

If people like the project, I’ll continue to develop it. I’ve always wanted to make a platformer with only scary levels. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find my game in the itch.io search. I might have configured something incorrectly.

Your game, “The Great Taste Adventures of Bungeo!”, is also quite interesting. It fits the theme of the game jam better than mine does, I think.
