Yes I made the models in blender then exported them and shrunk them down to about 128px.
I liked this one a lot, the visuals are fantastic. This game is very authentically bootleg, and I love all the goofy little bootleg monsters. Great entry!
I am floored. This game is fucking GORGEOUS. The designs are all cute and silly fun bootlegs, the 3D CG pseudo-claymation look is disgustingly charming, the soundtrack was simple but effective, the writing is so funny. Amazing work!
I couldn't stop laughing honestly, loved the writing and great graphic style as well. Everyone rips through me like I'm tissue paper though, its a bit grindy to get the levels needed, overall great experience
I really, really, really LOVE 90s CGI graphics. My only complaint is the game is a little slow and the music gets old fast.
Super fun! The feel is so eerie and strange - love the designs too!! Kept getting stuck in dialogue LOL but the gameplay is great!
I loved every minute of this high quality bootleg! really captured the well translated bootleg monster capture games! Ghost motorist really did carry me through out the game, till I got stuck in the Item menu.
I really like the visuals, they're super striking and well-done :D
The game is a bit buggy; if you get too many items you can't go back, WASD can't be used for navigating the menu (only arrow keys), text keeps repeating itself when you interact with something, among other things. Also, the game window title has (DEBUG) in it, a true mark of a gamejam game.
I feel a lack of direction - what exactly am is my goal and where do I go to do things? Overall the game is cool and I like the idea a lot :)
