Cooool gAME

Congrats on submitting! The blood vial time-limit mechanic is a clever way to build tension and force fast-paced movement. Designing levels specifically for speedrunning and optimization fits the jam vibe perfectly, and the theme of racing to reach Count Dracula before dawn is really cool. Great work!

Congrats on submitting! A time-attack racing game built around managing championship points within a one-week in-game deadline is a really cool concept for a jam. The character art styles shown in the screenshots look very unique, and having custom voice acting is a massive plus for personality. Great job putting this together!

Incredible entry! The voxel magic goes so hard in this one, giving off awesome Civilization mixed with cozy board game vibes. The economy balance feels super solid, and having to strategically budget your months to prepare for incoming countdown disasters adds amazing depth. My absolute favorite part has to be the NPC first-person camera—that was such a cool, unexpected feature that really brought the little world to life! It can be a little unforgiving and tricky to figure out what triggers population growth at first without an onboarding tutorial, but the level of polish here for a jam game is phenomenal. Fantastic work!

Wow, that first alarm absolutely jump-scared me! This is such a fun and frantic entry. It starts off feeling deceptively easy, but as the difficulty ramps up and all sorts of crazy chaos starts happening around the clock, it gets incredibly challenging and exciting. The voiceovers are hilarious, and popping the balloons is oddly satisfying. The graphics are simple, but the hilarious narrative elements and frantic gameplay loop more than make up for it. Awesome work!

First off, incredible pun in the name! The cartoon art style is absolutely adorable, which hilariously masks the sheer horror of chucking your villagers into a volcano. The screams are a brilliant touch and made me laugh out loud. The core gameplay loop of chaotic organization is really fun, though it can start to feel a bit grindy and repetitive after a few ship pieces. I also had some trouble understanding how the purple resource slots worked at first, but once you get a good rhythm going, it’s a blast. Fantastic entry!

This is a seriously addicting entry! Blending a classic Bomberman mechanic with incremental meta-progression and a skill tree is a brilliant twist. I loved how the different upgrade menus are actual physical rooms that your little miner hangs out in. Optimizing your movement to blow up ores and snatch them before the bomb countdown ticks down is incredibly satisfying. The Minecraft-inspired ore visuals feel right at home, though a volume slider and tooltips on the skill tree would be nice additions. The grind to get to the deeper depths is a bit slow, but the overall gameplay loop is super smooth. Fantastic work!

Brilliant concept! Surviving an endless corporate meeting while juggling memes and dodging the boss is such a relatable and hilarious spin on the theme. The soundtrack is an absolute bop, and the UI layout perfectly mimics a painful corporate page. It definitely has a steep learning curve with so many concurrent countdowns happening at once, and an in-game tutorial would help clear up the boss radar mechanics or side buttons. However, once you find the flow state and start building up combos, the chaotic plate-spinning gameplay becomes incredibly fun and satisfying. Great work

Wow, this was such a cool and unique entry! The atmosphere is incredibly unsettling, and you absolutely nailed the immersive, apathetic tone of the recorded voice acting—it felt exactly like defusing a bomb under pressure. Using math to countdown to zero before the timer is a super creative mechanic. I noticed a small audio bug where some voice lines overlap if you hit retry right after a failure, and integrating the four numbers a bit more naturally into the visuals couldheighten the immersion even further, but the overall execution is fantastic. Great job!

Awesome job with this entry! The tension between spending oil to shoot and needing it to survive creates an excellent gameplay loop, giving off great Doom-style resource management vibes. The pixel art looks fantastic, and the variety in the shop upgrades is impressive for a jam game. The snipers felt a bit overpowered when they clustered, and I noticed you can infinitely reroll the shop by walking away and back, but the core mechanics are incredibly solid. Super fun submission!

Fun puzzle concept! It took me a moment to grasp the mechanic since the UI text at the top of the screen was cropped out, but it was really satisfying once I figured it out. I encountered a crash after the second level, but the core idea is highly creative. Great job on the entry!

Awesome concept for a high-stakes puzzle game! Using a literal countdown to a bomb exploding fits the jam's prompt perfectly and immediately injects intense urgency into the gameplay loop. The simple, retro digital style of the countdown on the device thumbnail sets a great, tense mood before you even hit play. For future polish, introducing frantic audio cues like an accelerating ticking sound as the clock runs down would elevate the pressure to the next level. Fantastic job getting "Diffuse Me!" submitted in time!

Super fun and challenging game! Linking the countdown timer directly to your health pool is a brilliant mechanic, and turning the boss into a literal "running out of time" meme gives the game awesome personality. The combination of intense gameplay with the cozy tunes by Pizza Dog creates a really memorable, quirky vibe. For future polish, widening the weapon range slightly would help balance the extreme difficulty and make hitting targets feel more consistent during hectic moments. Fantastic work creating this!

Awesome mission control concept! Managing the 3-minute countdown while coordinating an operator's path to the package builds incredible tension right from the first room. The pressure of watching multiple camera feeds, timing distractions perfectly, and calling the shots feels highly tactical and intense. For future polish, adding a subtle radar ping or a "last known threat position" marker on the camera feed would be a great way to help players plan their next move without lowering the high-stakes difficulty. Fantastic job putting this together!

Highly addictive submission with incredibly satisfying fighting mechanics! Racing against the countdown timer to defeat an enemy injects excellent urgency into the combat, and the smart enemy AI keeps the encounters intense and highly replayable. The battle system feels great to engage with, making it hard to stop playing once you start. For future polish, adding a stagger or recoil effect when successfully blocking an attack would give defensive moves a lot more impact and make the overall flow of combat feel even more dynamic. Fantastic work!

This is a brilliant twist on turn-based design! Linking the countdown timer with a "time moves when you move" mechanic creates a fantastic tension between rushing to beat the clock and slowing down to avoid enemy damage. The overall aesthetic and character designs, especially the Chronocide, give the game a lot of unique personality. For future polish, introducing the available spells earlier or highlighting them within an in-game tutorial would help players fully utilize their toolkit during gameplay rather than discovering them afterward. Excellent work putting this together!

This is a fun micro-game collection! The concept of tracking and counting objects moving "down" is a clever, literal interpretation of the jam's prompt. The aesthetic feels cohesive and charming, though the timer is quite tight, which keeps the pressure high. For future updates, clarifying the in-game text prompts—like specifically asking to count "knocked-over pins"—would remove initial confusion and let players focus entirely on the fast reflex gameplay. Fantastic job completing this for the jam!

Really cool submission! Pushing bombs with limited fuses to clear paths creates a fantastic mix of spatial puzzle-solving and frantic time management. The core loop builds excellent urgency, and small details like the squishy character feel add a lot of charm to the experience. For future polish, adding a highly visible countdown effect to the fuses would help players plan precise moves, and implementing an input buffer would keep movement feeling silky smooth during high-pressure moments. Great work putting this together!

Really cool concept! The race against time to earn as many points as possible makes for a super frantic and addictive gameplay loop. It fits the jam vibes perfectly. A bit more visual or audio juice when collecting points would elevate it even further, but what you managed to pull off within the deadline is impressive. Great job!

How did you guys manage to pack this much polish, humor, and map depth into a short jam cycle?! The art style is gorgeous, the tools are fun to unlock, and the vibe is an amazing breath of fresh air amidst the stressful countdown entries. Amazing job, Rampart Games

This game is absolutely adorable! The pixel art is easily some of the best I’ve seen in the entire jam—the little rockhopper penguins are incredibly charming. The 3-minute launch window perfectly captures a hectic, fun energy. Awesome entry, Flocketeers!

Combining a rhythm game with a sci-fi mini city-builder is such a unique, wildly creative concept that I have never seen attempted before! The artwork and visual style are absolutely stunning, giving every building and UI element a beautifully distinct silhouette. It is incredibly rewarding when you establish a rhythm, effectively letting you compose your own backing music while scrambling to keep the Martian colony alive before reinforcements arrive.

Juggling an increasingly chaotic collection of minigames to stop multiple nuclear countdowns is such a brilliantly stressful interpretation of the theme! The execution is incredibly fun, and throwing in elements like math problems and captchas adds a hilarious layer of panic where you genuinely forget how to do basic addition. For a game jam entry, it is exceptionally bug-free, highly polished, and has a fantastic hook that keeps you hooked from the very first second.

Using your actual health system as a literal countdown to death is such a creative and high-stakes way to interpret the jam theme! The opening cutscene and the voice acting are absolute cinema, setting up a hilarious and incredibly entertaining atmosphere right from the start. Escaping the evil roses and dealing with Chomper the giant pocket watch makes for an intensely challenging experience that keeps you completely hooked.

The single-player, noir-detective vibe combined with intense bomb defusal mechanics creates such an immersive and clever take on the "Countdown" theme! The contrast between frantic time pressure and smooth background jazz sets a fantastic mood, and the visual details—like the tutorial hints on sticky notes and the interactive radio—are top-notch. It is incredibly impressive how much polish, personality, and escalating puzzle complexity you managed to pack into this entry for the GMTK Jam.

Splitting into two characters and literally dividing your remaining time between them is such a brilliant, stressful take on the "Countdown" theme! It turns every single move into a frantic, strategic race against the clock to keep the facility running. Managing both of them at once is a fantastic challenge that really keeps you on your toes for the GMTK Jam.

The concept of killing zombies only to make the remaining horde stronger is a really unique twist on wave defense! Running around and gunning down enemies feels great, and counting down to that frantic boss fight creates an awesome sense of tension. It is super impressive that you put this whole loop together right before the deadline for the GMTK Game Jam 2026.

I love how intense and fast-paced this game gets when you are racing against the clock! The adorable pixel art style and fluid movement mechanics make trying to beat the tight timer incredibly addictive. It is super impressive that you built such a polished and fun puzzle game in just 48 hours for the GMTK Jam!
