Racing against the countdown timer to defeat an enemy injects excellent urgency into the combat, and the smart enemy AI keeps the encounters intense and highly replayable. The battle system feels great to engage with, making it hard to stop playing once you start. For future polish, adding a stagger or recoil effect when successfully blocking an attack would give defensive moves a lot more impact and make the overall flow of combat feel even more dynamic.
