thanks for the feedback, yeah I should have made the popup messages last a little longer so people have more time to read the hints

Yeah the ship wrecks and pink asteroids restore fuel, otherwise you just have to conserve it for the boss if you can't find any of those pickups.

thanks for the feedback, and testing on linooooooox! yeah some improvements would definitely be made to ship movement speed and boost behavior in the future

thanks for the feedback! and playing the linux build =)

Hey heckert, yeah I'm looking into packaging for linux. I need some software installed to do so in unreal, but I'll keep you posted!

what gpu/cpu are you running? it's a UE5 game with high graphics and visual effects, so it will make any low end PC struggle a bit

Hmm, good to know. I also noticed some of the sounds were "too loud" at times. I'll adjust the volume on some of them individually.

awesome game, was very relaxing, but also challenging, weird combo that worked well

I had fun, nice music, art, gameplay, all around good game.

didn't work for me :(

unfinished, or non-uploaded game, sad :(

hmmmm

hmm, didn't seem to work for me :(

crash handler, hehe

doesn't work :(

wrong game it seems

Didn't work :(

didn't work, let us know if you fix!

didn't work :(

I guess since everybody seems to want it, I'll speed things up a bit, haha
Thanks for playing!

Fair enough, we made a short-term last minute decision to make the fuel harder to recover to encourage you to be economical with the boosters, haha.

Thanks man! Yeah lots of people have complained about the ship being too slow, not realizing it's supposed to be large capital ships, not little fighters you're controlling. I appreciate the feedback about the lasers too!

nice thanks! yeah I might speed up the ship a little bit, it's been suggested a few times now. Were you referring to the laser from the boss?

I had a blast spamming trash everywhere. The last level took a few tries too, well done overall. Although I'm not sure how this game applied to the jam theme. Had fun playing though!

Ah yes, fair enough. I was hoping the quest objective markers would be enough to guide players. We talked about a minimap of some kind but ultimately decided there wasn't enough time. This game was already way too feature-rich for a 10 day jam, haha!

haha thanks for the praise, we worked pretty tirelessly on this one from start to finish of the jam. I probably spent around 14-16 hours a day just coding while my partners handled all of the 3D art and graphics stuff. Boban did the cutscenes through unreal sequencer I believe.

Beautiful graphics, music and sound fx, but I couldn't figure out what to do! Activated the four pressure plates to restore water, but had nowhere to go after that. Maybe needs some instructions to guide new players a little better? Either way, well done visually.

fun game, very hard though, nicely done overall

Nice job! Good side-scrolling action, the controls were a little weird at first.

I played this before you submitted back when you posted in the discord channel. Wanted to make sure I rate it well, nicely done!

Nice job! And as always, Paul never disappoints with his music.

Was interesting to play, but couldn't proceed past a certain point. (No clear indicators of the obstacles that were killing me.) Great game though! Very creepy.

Turrets weren't taking any damage, just shooting at nothing I guess? The flight feels good though, and the music and SFX were nice.

pinball games are always fun!

haha, I'm excited to release this one my dude!

turned out amazing! nice graphics, music, robot explosions, puzzles. The character movement was definitely a challenge too, hard to jump onto the platforms and stay there lol

Fun game, and the music choice sets the right mood!

Awesome video man, thanks for trying out the game and giving the feedback! I agree with the need for more ambience and sound effects. After the game jam voting is over, we plan to integrate the procedural maps and add more sounds and music, as well as more traps. Thanks again!

nice, yeah i quickly noticed that a procedural map would be very difficult to make work smoothly within 2 weeks. But me and my partner definitely plan to get it working for this game now, along with some other features. Anyway thanks for the review and feedback!
