Neat incremental game. I just paid off my debt. I liked that I didn't have to do anything other than move my mouse and occasionally left click to play it. It was very chill and I haven't really seen a game that controlled quite like it. 

Found a small bug by the way. If you don't have enough money for an upgrade, and then you complete one of your daily quests to get more money, you still can't buy anything with that money.

The lawmen were terrifying!

There are some expansions on the way. A small patch featuring a few new levels and some QoL improvements is coming in the next few days. Further out, we have plans to turn it into a full-length puzzle game.

There's an option to set a keybind for skipping a level, if you're having alot of trouble with a level. You can find the option by pressing escape. 

The art design for this is super attractive and drew me in immediately when I saw it. Neat platforming idea as well. I had fun playing.

I think it's completely fair to view it as farfetched, because there was even a lot of internal discussion about how the theme fits among just us two developers. I personally think it works at a very 'molecular' level, like when you boil a game down to what it truly is in its base parts. What is an enemy? What is a weapon? For me, I truly believe a square block is an enemy and a mouse cursor is a weapon. Because that's a bit of what the theme of this puzzle game is about anyways. A colored square can represent something, anything, or nothing. 

Me too, honestly!  There's many, many mechanics that were theorized but not used in this jam, so it's fun to think about.

I'm right there with you at not being good at puzzle games.  I struggled a lot with one of my own levels I designed in this(even after completing it multiple times in testing).  I'm glad you enjoyed! Happy to hear that the controls felt clean.

Platformers are an acquired skill, for sure, and this one is towards the more technical/tougher side. Appreciate you giving it a try!

Haha yeah. Coyote timing and some other core platforming mechanics were things that I'd have liked to put in but I ultimately decided not to scope creep because I didn't want to spend over 2 hours on the project :P Thank you for playing.

Cute game. Neat concept with the decay bar. I might've been missing something but it felt like it was taking a really long time to earn enough to buy any upgrades. Is that intended or is there some way to get points faster?

Thanks for playing! I'm not aware of any hidden areas in our game so it sounds like you didn't miss anything. I think saying that it feels slow or clunky is more than fair, but it was definitely an intentional design choice on our part for a couple of reasons.  Mainly it was to make it where pausing felt like the character's main strength in how they overcome the enemies.  It's a tricky balance for sure. It was also a slight nod to the old school games where the characters tend to feel a bit cumbersome.

Very catchy cover art drew me in. Interesting puzzle to figure out! I also really dig the GameboyGirl song. 

Neat concept. I really liked the art style(the flashing sheen over the screen was really eye-catching) and overall I thought it was an innovative style of game.  I enjoyed pressing the on screen buttons

This one was right up my alley. I love tough technical platformers with tight jumps and I liked the puzzles that were incorporated.  All around well-made.  Nice matching art style and the sound/music was very fitting as well.

I meant the game characters as they appear on the main menu and such. Like the main character. And the enemies.  They look good by themself but by integrated better I just mean they look really flat with the background. So that could be an improvement point for the next time is making the art with the camera view of the game in mind.

Haha very funny game. I was playing it straight up for a little while then realized the glitch. Very amusing implementation. Got the slow mo bug so didn't finish, but enjoyed nonetheless.

The cover art was really nice looking, by the way. It could've been integrated better into the actual game but the character art itself is great.
