I really liked the polish that was done on all the menus, it added much needed presence in areas that might have been boring otherwise. The art style is also great, what program did you use? The gameplay was fun but sadly I experienced a bug that stopped me from being able to activate the spinner on f2/3, r2/5 and even after activating the skip it persisted for the next combat. Great job!

This was really well done! I think my only wish, and this seems difficult to design and not compromise the art, is an easier reminder of which button is which color note. Games like DJMAX or Guitar Hero (and to some extent Spin Rhythm) have the notes in order of how you are physically holding the controller. Since everything is symmetric here it isn't a difficult problem to solve and the blue and orange buttons helped a bit but I was wondering if there was more that could be done! I say this because I love when all of that melts away in a rhythm game and you are in the zone; it's a great feeling and you guys for sure have that going on here. Bravo!
Great animations and vibe! Would love more of the game to have some feedback for events like taking damage (enemy + you) as well as shopping and how much gold you have after each purchase as it didn't update for me. I thought the second pointer was a good idea to navigate how inconsistent an RPG with a spinning wheel to do actions is. Bravo!
Really fun idea, I like the puzzle complexity of having to sometimes force the rotation of other platforms, would be cool to explore that more in design. There is some difficulties in legibility of the puzzle like green gears with green bouncy platforms but this is still incredible for a first submission.
we sent your question regarding a finished version up the chain and have a response from our leadership:
"THERE IS AS YET INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR A MEANINGFUL ANSWER."
we will be sure to update you and anyone else interested on this front at a future date. thank you for your application to Corporate Memphis
I think this game is really missing a visual way to understand if conditions are satisfied on furniture from a glance. I found myself hovering a lot on furniture and it could be fun to see how many conditions people can deal with at a time. I can see this becoming a banger cozy puzzle game. Incredible work.
Incredible art and neat game! He really should just get pre-check to skip the other worldly security checkpoint haha.
One thing we found making a minigame focused game for the jam was we would get really good at the minigames and we would need to reframe ourselves into what a new player would think, requiring a lot more leniency be implemented into our levels.
