Hi,

We had great fun completing our game for the jam.  And I can also rate submission from others. However my co-contributers can't rate games.  Is this intended?

I think this used to be different a few jams back.

Thanks in advance,

RedZ

That would indeed be a nice twist to the game.  Thanks for the idea!

A nice concept, but there was no clear concept of winning or what to do with the money.  Would be nice to sustain yourself (food, rent, homeowenership) in some way.

Love the game. A very entertaining gameplay looop. I played it for almost half an hour and stopped at year 61.

I would have a few small suggestions.  But they don't detract the overall great result.
- Sometimes I accidentally replaced the tile above(up)  the tile I wanted to replace.  The release point of the drag felt a bit weird sometimes.

-  The game felt a bit easy at times.  In year 61 I already had 11xxx/6xxx deity points. Maybe ramp up requirements a bit more.

- Maybe resetting deity points every 10 years can help. Preventing too much built up.

You created a nice and compelling game.  The artstyle has a very Paint-like look to it. But does not get in the way.

Fun game. Played the story to the end. It was nice to play a game with a story.

I liked the little text's explaining new functionality (e.g "locked"  or "double tap")

Sometimes it was not clear if changing gravity would lead you into a trap or a continuing path. So maybe here the level design could be improved.  Luckily the levels were not to long, so I could continue easily.

Really cool concept.  I watched your play trough video to understand how to finish the 3rd level.  It seems important to jump forward in 3d mode before continuing in 2d.

I guess you keep your same 3d-depth once you enter 2d. Unfortunately this is not always clear, leading to you falling of things you thought you stand on.

I think it can be quite difficult to get the transition between 2d/3d properly but it was a very nice experiment to play.

Thanks for making the .love file available. It was the easiest way to play for me. Nice to see another dev working wit love (we didn't use it for this submission).

I liked the game and it gives a nice challenge, but at some point it becomes a bit ridiculous.

Very nice work. It is fun to play,  I did two play troughs, but I didn't manage to beat the boss.  I had fun none the less.

There are some issues of bullets colliding with open doors and floating texts when they shouldn't. But the is not that big of a deal. (And you can use it to your advantage once you know :P)

A interesting concept.  I had the greatest trouble controlling the craft and shooting anything.  Sometimes fragments turned red, but I never managed to destroy them.

Good work. I'm glad you were able to finish your game in this Jam Period.  I really liked the level design. Making good puzzle levels is difficult.

I like the learning by doing style of the levels.

I was glad I could skip some levels since I was absolutely stumped on 7 and 8.

Particle effects would definitely be a nice touch yeah.  I'm not to used to making those, maybe we will look into it next Jam.

The idea is very neat. But the difficulty is a tad high. But I'm not an platforming pro

Yeah. It's just a wordplay related to physics.

Originally we thought to maybe add a Isaac Newton sprite or Easter egg, but that didn't pan out.

It was unclear to me how upgrading the player works.

Nice addictive gameplay loop for the rest

Nice graphical style. And decent gameplay. Challenging but doable.

On the jumps down you often couldn't see where you would end up.

I couldn't help but notice that if you hide the sound you can still change the volume level xD

Nice try tough. I had some fun.

Simple game, but quite catchy.
Difficult to get the right balance between challange and frustration.

Music was very good, hit sound was a bit hard.

I coudn't figure out how to get more syringes.

Finding back your home  can be quite difficult ! :D

I tried several options, but I always lose in the same way after two dialogs :(

Very cool idea tough to focus on the mangement of one city!

Hunting is quite a dangerous activity ;) (At the very least in our game)

Very cool artsyle!

As a note: You can also dig trough the bottom of the level :)

Graphics don't render quite right. But that might be due to my browser.

I liked the game, simple but fun gamplay.

Bit confusing at first (what is money and roses good for?). They turn out to be cures.

Once you get the hang of it, it seems not to difficult. But action feels a bit repetitive. :(

How to win this game? I'm  not sure what te goal is.

Stopping your first rat when it becomes unprofitable and waiting for additional cities to turn op prevents an early bankruptcy
