The tile art and cat animations are very pretty. The void effect is also really cool and the noise on the screen adds a sense of urgency when you are in the void areas. Great job!

I really like the style! Nice work on the UI and art

It was very satisfying to try to flatten the wave and to unlock more controls to use. I maxed out at inf/sec so I think I did pretty well. Nice take on a "clicker" game, very fun!

Spooky! The ambiance is really great with the audio, visual effects, and models. The gameplay is a bit lacking, you can survive just spamming the power and pressing close blinds every few seconds. Still, this is very thematic and is one of the best horror games I've seen in the jam!

Pretty interesting concept. Definitely needs a timer on each item on the conveyor belt to keep to pace up and stop the player from reading the description every time. I don't think it's possible to lose when you have enough items unless you make a mistake, so time pressure would keep the rounds interesting. Really good overall!

Wow this guy makes a lot of waste. The animations are really nice and I like the lighting effect on the abberation. Solid game, nice job!

I like how hectic it gets as time goes on. I switched between the octogon and star to really fly around the map. The color palette is also pretty nice. Good job!

I like all of the sprites especially the numbers with faces. It gets hard after the ramp up, I can’t outrun those snakes!

I like the drawn character in the 3d world. I wonder where the story would go if it was completed.

I am become death, destroyer of worlds

why billy???

Very beautiful and zen!

Pretty fun “half baked doom clone.” I like the visual aberration effect on the enemies. I had to turn my monitor brightness all the way up to see anything but good job!

I love it. Reminds me of clicking around orteil.dashnet.org circa 2015.

This was really fun! I’ve seen a few card based games in this game jam and this was my favorite so far. I like the rainbow effect on all of the enemies. The only thing missing in my opinion was sound but I get being rushed to make the deadline. I would recommend putting the controls in the description because it took me a minute to figure out I was supposed to scroll through the deck. Nice work!

The game is really beautiful. 5/5 for presentation. The controls keep tripping me up though. I like the mechanic of changing which obstacles exist depending on the direction, but camera flipping makes me lose track of my character on the screen when I need to make a change mid jump. The visual difference between the two “worlds” was too subtle for me so I also would sometimes press the wrong direction and accidentally trigger a spike on top of myself. Still really fun though, I got to level 8.

Super interesting graphics, the character animation and scribble effect are great! All of the spells are very satisfying to use. The brick texture following the camera was a little disorienting though.

Egg clicker.

I got to the eye in 1:28

I really like the lighting and animations, it makes the game world feel alive. The aberration effect is a good mechanic, I had a similar idea for my game. Good work!

Fun idea to gameify some programming problems. I think the explanatory animations are great and give it an extra level of polish. I would gladly play through more levels of this.

My one line Python solutions (spoilers)

level1 = lambda s: ‘’.join(filter(str.isupper,s))
level2 = lambda s: f’{[*({*range(max(n:={*map(int,s.split())}))}-n)][1]}’

Very cool graphics. Definitely fits the theme!

Fun idea! I’d be happy to play an endless version of this to go for a high score. Nice job!

The description says I’ll know when I reach the end, but I keep getting stuck after finish the snake game. Is there anything after it that I’m missing?

I love it.

Rust mentioned! Like the other comment said, being able to respawn would be nice with the fall damage. I haven’t used Bevy myself yet, but it’s nice to see other engines represented in the jam. Good job especially for first game!

Very interesting concept. The little bit that is here is good environmental storytelling. I could definitely see this expanded into a full story if you decide to put more time into it!

I like the idea of combining a deck builder with first person shooter. The pixel effect is also nice

Damn I really liked this. It was good ear training on the first few levels then I had to rely mostly on the difference output once there were too many layers. My one feature request would be a mute/solo button on each tone so I can focus on one at a time without changing the volume of the others. Great job!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with the controls, I think the super speed adds to the feel of the game. I think the guards are pretty tanky, it takes 3-4 heavy attacks to take one down. I think having weaker guards but much more of them would make for more exciting combat. I liked it!

I maxed out the research tree in about a minute and now I don’t know what else to do. I’ve gotten some event popups but I haven’t noticed any in game impact from them.

Edit: I was brutally executed by my citizens for denying the festival

Fantastic! The minimal graphics focus all of the attention on the gameplay which feels really polished. I like how we both had the same idea for a mechanic based on the theme but came out with completely different games (I have to say your puzzles are much better than mine). 10/10

Fun game! I really appreciate the procedural graphics. What engine/api did you use for that?

This is the perfect game to gobble vegan glizzies to

I love the transitions and animations. Well done for five hours!

Wow! don’t judge a book by its cover! Up until the first twist I kinda expected this to be like a dozen other game jam games I’ve played before, but that was infinitely more interesting than I was expecting! Short and sweet but very subversive

I beat it! I think this was a fantastic little brain teaser. Despite the rather simple visuals and gameplay it perfectly captures the tone that the title references. Even though there is nothing similar about the gameplay it reminded me of other more surreal games like Stanley Parable and Superliminal (some of my favorite games). Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I really enjoyed this!

A lot of worldbuilding for such a short game. The setting and art style reminds me of Endoparasitic. Great job!
