amazing concept! gameplay is a bit rough, for example, upgrades requiring max ressources of everything make goblins randomly ruin your planning just before you buy the upgrade, or buying more than the max could just auto yeet.

but beside that, amazing concept, could definitively see this being an actual game

I love it.

This was not what I was expecting, but it was really fun. Certainly a chaotic race against you’re opponent, and a bit of a challenge to think ahead and keep track of all your resources, particularly once your opponent gets goblins to mess you up (at least in my experience). Sound design is great, and the game’s UI is really clear and fairly easy to read at a glance. The progression felt good, and racing to get to the end felt good as you clicked on each new node of the tree. Overall, really enjoyable :).

Thanks, i put a lot of work into the sound design. All custom. Glad to see it appreciated :)

Ok, I guess

Very strange yet cool idea. Felt like a lot of information to take in at the beginning, though I quickly understood how everything worked.

Awesome. I liked the main menu and final animation (although i was expecting an explosion). It was more of a speed game than anticipated. very silly theme:

This game is wonderfully weird. and I love that!

I'm gonna be honest, and say I struggled pretty hard to make meaningful progress while playing. I did eventually make sense of how to progress strategically, but after my first advance, it was basically over for me lol

The premise is hysterical, and the visuals and gameplay add to the frenetic energy it exudes.

This game put a huge smile on my face, and I'm glad to have been able to play it! Lovely work.

Thanks man. Between you and the other commenter it seems i might need to nerf the AI a bit more. Can you elaborate on what you found over-the-top difficult?

Sure! I think it's primarily because I'm a bit dumb, but if I were to try and make it easier for dummies like me, I'd maybe give the player a little time to get a bit of a head-start.

What I mean by that is, I think if I'd have had a short period of time to explore the controls, try all the buttons, and really get a feel for the flow of the game - knowing when is a good time to try and sabotage, or when you absolutely need to sell a resource to progress. Some of that I learned essentially as I was trying to catch up.

I think if I just had that moment to experiment a little, I'd have been able to do a better job of keeping pace with the AI.

While I'm thinking about it, I'm going to try again and see if there's anything else that stuck out to me.

Following up - despite having an idea of the flow of the game, I still couldn't beat it. With enough time and RNG, I'm sure I could. But I've yet to - again, it's probably a skill issue on my part.

I'll slow down the AI, and maybe add a little delay to them starting to harvest. i don't think i have time to introduce anything more complicated. Thanks for the feedback!

Funny concept! I was a bit confused at first but I eventually understood. It's really difficult though! I got close a couple times but then decided to give up, the AI is just too fast! I liked the lose animation, very polished, and if I could critique I would say make it a bit clearer which of the selling items correlate to which resource. I know it's in the same order as it is displayed on the left, but at a quick glance I would prefer if the colours of the buttons matched the resources more clearly to be able to quickly sell them! Anyway, very interesting entry :)

Thanks for playing. I actually nerfed the AI into the ground, from how i had it while i was developing. It used to be so hard i couldn't beat it either. Those damn goblins.

Good point about the buttons.

Developer(+1)

Updated the buttons to be more clear at a glance, thanks for the advice :)
