You guys are right, there was a bug in the NPC affection logic. I already fixed it, but the problem is that I didn’t make a backup of version 0.1.12 to release a quick hotfix. So yeah, it’s fixed, but it won’t be available until version 0.1.13, which drops in two weeks.
The only workaround would be starting a new save file and going straight for Dr. G’s route to see all the new content, since you’d begin with 0 affection and wouldn’t run into this bug.
This really sucks since it basically blocks access to most of the update: two Dr. G events, the dungeon, the boss, the enemies, etc. basically, because of this bug, the only thing you can access right now is the Halloween event 😔!
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed seeing your idea implemented, it was a great suggestion, and it fit perfectly with the vision for the game.
I also wanted to mention that I still plan to add more dreams in the future. The Mr. Pig dream was added mainly to introduce the dream mechanic into the game, it uses recycled art from earlier scenes and story-wise it’s a bit short.
Later on, I’ll be adding more dreams with their own original CGs.
Yes! Like you said, there are five main lover routes. The streamer one isn’t a separate romance route, it’s actually a job.
For the jobs, there are currently four: Streamer with 3 events, Waitress with 3 events, the Nun job which only has its intro for now, and the IRL Streamer job which has 3 events and unlocks after getting the passive Tom gives you in his second event and completing the first streamer job event.
The main routes aren’t fully completed yet, but each one will have 5 events once they’re finished. Right now Tom has 2 events, Mr. Pig has 3 in this update (4 in the Patreon version), Tyrus has 1, Maria has 1, and Dr. G has 1 in this version and 3 in the Patreon version.
There are also other events that aren’t tied to routes or jobs, like the arcade nerds, the pool jerks, the big Halloween event (Patreon version), and the events that happen when Ren is defeated by certain enemies or bosses.
If Tom stopped calling you, it can be because you already finished his 2 available events or simply because it isn’t his day. Each NPC calls on a specific day of the week, and Tom calls on Saturdays.
You can check your progress of the main routes in the Characters menu. It shows which events you’ve completed, and if you select a character you can also see when they’re available to hang out, where to meet them, their likes, dislikes, and so on.

About your points:
1: Yeah you’re totally right, the Doc’s Cure item doesn’t actually cure poison 😅 how did I even miss that? It’s already fixed and will be working properly in the next update.
2: Some other players have mentioned the same issue about getting lost or areas being too far apart. To fix that (and thanks to a suggestion from another comment here), I’m planning to add a proper fast travel system through the bus stops scattered around the city. Right now they’re only used to go to the overworld, but in version 0.1.12 they’ll let you travel anywhere directly.
3: I recently increased the relationship points you get from gifts to make things a bit faster, but I guess it still wasn’t enough. Aside from adding more gift options overall, I also plan to include a “Hang Out” mechanic where you can go to different spots in the city with NPCs to raise their relationship faster. That’ll probably come in version 0.1.13.
4: Similar to point 2
The way I tried to designed the game is so the player can pick whichever route they want, play through the 5 main events of each one, and in the end choose which route to finish with (and see the corresponding ending). So the Mr. Pig route won’t be mandatory for story progression, but players can still do it if they want before choosing another ending. Each major route (Dr.G, Mr. Pig, Tyrus, Tom, Maria) will have its own way of solving Ren’s rent problem, just in different ways.
And lastly, about Ren, deep down she’s actually super pervy but tries hard to repress it. That’s why her behavior shifts depending on who she’s with. For example, during her “prostitution job” scenes, she takes the lead with the shy guy who’s never kissed anyone, but act disgusted (while secretly enjoying it) with someone like Mr. Pig or Mr. Kuma. That’s what I tried to go for anyway, I know writing is my weakest point in the game haha.

I think your whole idea is really cool! What I especially like is how it could expand into basically anything in the game, almost like a "What if?" scenario. I also think it’s great because it would add a lot more to the sleep mechanic, which right now is mostly just for passing the day or triggering a call from an NPC.
I’ll try to see if I can add something like this, maybe at least a short dream/event in the next version 0.1.11. I still need to figure out exactly how it would work though. Would it be random? Would it happen the day after the event it is tied to? Would it only happen once or be repeatable, although that might get a bit repetitive, Would players be able to skip it? Could it be added to the gallery? There are lots of little details to think about.

Yeah, this version 0.1.9 doesn't include the fixes for those bugs, since I introduced them exclusively to the public version 0.1.8 and the upcoming version 0.1.10, which I was already working on when I fixed these bugs (and a bunch of others). But don’t worry, the new version 0.1.10 (and future releases) are already fixed. It’s just this specific version that stayed like that, and I can’t add the fixes now because I didn’t make a backup of version 0.1.9 😅
Okay, so if I understood right, the bug wasn’t from the save files themselves but from the config.rpgsave file that RPG Maker MV creates (that’s the one that stores keybinds and options). If carry an old config over, it can mess things up and cause bugs.
The fix is just to delete config.rpgsave in the save folder, the game will recreate it with the default settings, and everything should work fine again.
So, if anyone else runs into this, try removing the config first before touching the saves, right?

Okay, so I just uploaded a final version 0.1.8d(before 0.1.9), which includes a small message when trying to open the interaction menu and it doesn’t open.
If you could download this version, go to your save and simply press E, then let me know if you see anything.
The important part is to check if a switch shows up, like in the following image:

Another test would be if you could simply start a new game, skip the intro, and press E to see if the menu works in a new game and if you see the Wait command.

If you can see a switch (and hopefully you do🙏) in the first test, then it should be something easy to fix!
1. Travel/location placement
Yes, ever since I made the first map, which I thought was pretty big at the time, I quickly realized I filled it up with events and things happening inside. That’s why, when I created the overworld, I started spacing locations further apart in case I needed more room in the future. Of course, this led to the current problem where every location feels far away and traveling becomes tedious. But your idea is really good, having buses take you to specific places and being able to go to the overworld directly from roads. I’ll add that in the next update!
2. Battle
There is a flee option, just press X in the battle menu:

I also changed the Tits! attack into an AoE, and the hobo boss fight bug should now be fixed!
3. Switch puzzle
Okay, so I tested each puzzle and they do work, but I admit they can be confusing. Basically:

R: red lever

Y: yellow lever
-
G: green lever
To unlock the chest on the first floor (which contains a useful but non-essential consumable), you need to use the following sequence in that order:

Green lever: 4 times
-
Yellow lever: 4 times
-
Red lever: 4 times
The levers for this chest are spread across both floors of the dungeon.




4. Streaming
Hehe, that was a design mistake on my part. Right now, all you earn from streaming are donations during events, but working normally only gives you followers. I’ll fix this in the next update 0.1.10!
About the Tom event, could you explain a bit more? You mean you can’t see the interaction menu at all? Normally if you press E you should see the “Wait” command.

The stream command unlocks after you get the Tom’s Help skill and complete the PC streaming event (after getting the dildo). Then it should show up like this:

I replayed the event myself, reached 200 followers first, then got Tom’s skill, and I was able to unlock the side job. Now I just press E outside a building and I can stream.

Still, I’m not sure if that fully fixes your issue, so I’d love to hear more details to solve it properly!
5. Tyrus
Tyrus will explain more about his motives in future events along his route, but I think your ideas here are very interesting!
6. Building relationships
Yes, I’m already planning new ways to interact with NPCs and raise relationship levels faster.
7. Training stats
I added stat training because I wasn’t sure if I made Ren too weak with his base stats. If that’s the case, you can always spend time at the arcade, library, pool, etc. to raise your stats a bit.
8. Scenes
In this update I added an item that cures the illness, so you can avoid repeating the doctor’s scene if you don’t want to. But I agree, it would be nice to have a system to auto-skip previously seen events.

You're right! How did I not notice this bug?!😓 I already fixed it, and now when using the Escape Rope, you'll appear one tile above the dungeon entrance. I’ve already fixed the bathroom bug too, just download the game again (it’s already uploaded here on itch with the fix).
Also now that I’ve replayed the bathroom scene, I realize how much Ren differs from their current appearance 😅. I’ll redraw the scene, but this will take a bit more time. It’ll probably be in the next update. Thanks for reporting this!
Hey! First of all, thank you so much for playing my game and for taking the time to report this.
I spent the whole afternoon looking into the issue. The logic of the two events you mentioned (the fight and the transfer to the apartment) seems to be fine, but your report made me dig a little deeper and I did find something.
I noticed there were some discrepancies with the filenames I use in the events and in some plugin commands. Maybe that was what was causing the loading issue? I'm not sure, but I've corrected those anyway.
Honestly, I'm not sure if this is what was causing the error, but I really couldn't find anything else weird or unusual. The main problem is that I don't have a Linux device to test it and confirm for sure 😓.
This will be included in the next update.
Hey! A couple of other players had mentioned it too, and honestly I also found moving from one event to another a bit confusing sometimes. I’m already working on a missions tab and it’ll be available in the next update (v0.1.8), along with sidequests and a battle system. Past events will take me a bit longer to add into this mission system since they need extra testing, so I’ll be rolling those out gradually in the updates after 0.1.8. Thanks a lot for the feedback!
The Thug is only the antagonist in Tom's route. In fact, in this new update, he makes a reappearance. We’ll learn more about him later on, but no, he doesn’t have his own route. Buuut early in development, he was supposed to be the main character of the "Gang route" (drugs, prostitution, etc.), which I had planned, but it never came to anything. So, I decided to reuse him for Tom’s route instead.

About the Mr. Pig and the first kiss thing, yeah, that's a great suggestion to add a warning about your first kiss. I like it and I’ll definitely add it!
Regarding the futa route, the first event is already done and available in the Patreon version (0.1.5), and I already have the rest of the events planned out. Still, I might consider adding a secret or side event involving twin characters. That does sound interesting, so I’ll see what I can do!
Also, I hadn’t thought about using the gallery for an event, but you’re right. It’s the perfect scenario for something like that, especially since Ren is still digging through the trash during her visit. I’ll definitely add something along those lines!
Right now I’m pretty busy finishing up the next update (0.1.6), so I might not be able to include all of this in time, but I’ll make sure to work these changes into the following version.

The plan is to let you explore all routes until near the end, where you’ll choose one route and get its ending. For mixing routes, like doing Pig/Tyrus alongside Tom’s, right now only a few lines of dialogue reflect actions from other routes but I’m open to adding more significant changes, like deeper consequences or NTR dynamics, if players request it.
