Thanks! Yes, it was wall × 250 on the map lol. Since the jam, I've learned a thing or two about optimization blender assets in Godot, so as I move forward with this project things should be better.

Thanks for playing and the feedback! I'm working to expand the game to have more obstacles and tools to push players to swap between worlds while making it scary to do so 😀. Also tinkering with the monster and how to enable it for the best player experience, so I'll keep your thoughts in mind!

That's hilarious, I can't wait to see it myself :). I forgot that Fran Bow existed lol, but I get what you're saying, I might just go play it again to get more inspiration . Thanks for playing!

I enjoyed the art and music for your game! My only complaint is that the platforming was too clunky for me at times,  especially near the end when precision was required.

I still come back to this game, it's still fun :)

Congrats on your first game jam! Not falling was a bit tricky, but hey that's the point of platformers.

I think your copy was just haunted dude. I'm planning on building this project out fully, so I'll ghostbust it eventually. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! If I build this out further, I'll be sure to add something to reduce the side effects, like a filter.

Thanks!

Thanks, probably my favorite part of the project tbh!

Thanks! I usually like to add a tutorial or something similar in game to remove confusion, but I spent so much learning modeling I couldn't fit one in 😅

Thanks! Your submission was interesting! And thanks for the shout out in the discord :)

Thanks! I had an idea to make a simple introduction to the mechanics, but ran out of time sadly.

Great take on the theme! I think you could flush this out into a full project if you wanted, with things like additional lore and different sessions with the, um, doctor:)

Using your previous lives as a stepping stone for progress is pretty sweet :)

Good start, seems like you're well on your way already to a flushed out game. I like the take on black/white as terms for justice :)

Simple and effective, great submission :)

I was spooked for real for real, especially with the camera and shaders.

Thanks!

Wait that idea is actually genius. Thanks for it and playing!

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Changing the models to have more elements would be sick, for sure. If I had more time, I was planning on adding obstacles for the player and cops to move around, such as parked cars and trash bins.

Hell yea, thanks for playing!

Thanks! I originally had the idea to have the character ride the guitar like a hoverboard, but lacked the time and knowledge to make the animations work.

Thanks, and thanks for playing! Sorry for the panning issue, I've heard Godot and web browsers sometimes don't play well.

Wow, didn't think that could happen! Glad you got through the second time 😀. Thanks for the suggestion, didn't even think about the Goat Simulator direction!

I like this concept! I wish it was more clear what counts as a discrepancy, as I ended up guessing and checking (and even then I struggled to understand what transactions exposed the mole)

Where can I bribe the innocent? I want to feel like a bad guy

This is my favorite implementation of the theme and object so far. You could expand this in so many directions if you wanted to flush this out into a full project :)

I like the music :)

Incredible, that's a hard score to get! Thanks for playing

Neat concept, I like how it twists the theme of chaos! Had similar difficulties as others in understanding the game initially, but if this were to be developed further, I think it could be a good project. Good job!

Thanks! If I end up developing this idea further, expanding on the core systems for more chaos and fun would be a top priority 😀. Thanks for playing!

Nice! I had plans to tie the graph to something, but ran out of time so just made a random animation lol. Thanks for playing!

The snail exchange giveth and taketh lol. If I were to build on this further, I'd do a deep dive into making the RNG a bit less punishing, as I saw similar patterns in playtesting. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! I ran out of time to make an end-game scene or anything like that; would definitely be on the todo list if I developed this further. Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed the sound design!

Ah, you right, glad you enjoyed everything else! Thanks for playing!

I played this game until I reached 40 turns. It's incredibly fresh and addicting, and the visuals are ridiculously good, too. If you ever put this up on Steam, I'd wishlist it in a heartbeat.

Nice prototype with an interesting idea! One suggestion before you get too far into development is to evaluate how the bucket and altitude interact. I figured out early on it was more efficient to just drive the drone right on top of the pig I wanted to put into the loop, rather than raising/lowering the bucket. Neat game!

This is a neat concept! It could use improvements in polish and gameplay, so here's a couple of things I noticed:

1. It feels frustrating when you hit a glob into another one, just to have it spawn a third. Even if I killed it in that hit, it doesn't feel like I made progress in the level. Maybe you could have code that identifies the reason a glob hit another (for example,  did they run into each other, or did the player hit them into each other).

2. A follow up to thing 1 is that once the globs started coming together, I felt powerless to clear them because of the damage I do and the cooldown on my attack. There's probably some space to explore beyond tweaking numbers.

3. I wished this had felt a bit more chaotic, but because the enemies spawn in the same places it felt more like a puzzle-combat game rather than a "oh no, I gotta run for my life" every time I restarted a level.

Overall, I think this idea has potential and looking into the changes mentioned could be a good starting point for fleshing this out into a full game if you wanted. Congrats on submitting!

A fellow connisseur for using snails for chaos I see :)

Had a good time! Controls were a little rough, and as others mentioned, a visual tutorial would have helped, but you have a solid base to flesh this out into a full project. Great job!
