I stepped in poop :S

Sick game! Used to love playing kitten cannon, this reminds me of that.

Pretty fun, very similar to ball-race on Gmod/TU. Good job for your first game. 👍

Unfortunately the master server is no longer running atm, so player count will be 0 and no public servers will show. You can however still directly connect to a friend's server via IP.

pretty fun lil game, needs better lighting and graphics though. 🥂

Great game, fun as heck 🥂

For those of you that were having trouble connecting to the master server, it should be fixed now. So the server browser should be working correctly again.

We also have a new Discord server, so check it out and find some folks to play with! https://discord.gg/bCBKYTA

Loved the first Soldat, this looks dope.

Good stuff, keep em coming. I like the idea of featured games every month.

Glad to hear you had fun playing! I'll implement a color hex code field in the next update.

Not working how exactly? Joining or hosting?

I'm working on new projects now, but may come back to adding a few things to Zibulon 2 in the future.

The artwork is a combination of assets found on OpenGameArt and my own art. I think the only stuff I used that wasn't mine were the trees and some of the ground tiles, but even then decent amounts of editing was done.

Thanks for playing! Glad you had some fun. I'll be sure to keep your ideas in mind.

Hey Steve! I think this is awesome that you're taking the time to review people's projects, some really cool stuff.

So of course once I found out you're open to reviewing stuff, I had to get in on it!

If you need more info, just let me know.

Studio Name: I'm an independant developer, so no studio "yet!"

Name Of Game: Zibulon 2

Quick Bio of Game: Zibulon 2 is a multiplayer online co-op waved-based shooter. There's multiple weapons, enemy types, and various other game-play elements that tie everything together with the ultimate goal being to survive as long as possible with or without your friends.

It's kinda like "Killing Floor" just as a 2D pixel platformer!

How long the Game was in development and if it's still in development, early access, or complete: It has been in development for about 2 months, it's basically complete, however there are some future updates coming out to add additional weapons, enemy types, and game-modifiers, and more.

Why you became a game developer in the first place: I've loved video games since I was young, I've been into developing them for years, and while most of my projects never see the light of day, it's always an awesome feeling to finally release something that people enjoy playing.

Survive on an alien planet by exterminating the inhabitants with your friends!

Taking notes from the first game, Zibulon 2 features all new weapons, enemies, and items, along with the most important part, it's now co-op!

That's right, host a server and get your friends to join!

See how long you can survive against the never-ending waves of aliens. They get stronger and angrier with each passing wave.

Check it out! - https://awesomex.itch.io/zibulon-2

Thanks for playing!

New weapons will be coming soon, possibly in the update coming later this week to fix issues and bugs found from the initial release.

Thanks for playing.

An update will be coming later this week to fix issues and bugs found from the initial release, and to overall help balance the game.

I won't spoil anything, but there may be some new weapons coming, who knows!

I wasn't aware my Steam profile was removed from my personal page. Or maybe I just didn't do it right.

Anyways, if you'd like to talk about claiming your prize, you can add my personal account here -

http://steamcommunity.com/id/AwesomeX-/

I'll obviously need proof that you did indeed create the project, and then we'll work out distributing the prizes to you and your team.

Well, the jam's over. Now all that's left is a week for voting on the entries, and then the winners will be chosen, and prizes will be given out.

I'd like to thank everyone for participating in the first X-Jam, I hope you had fun, and maybe even learned a little bit.

Until next time, everyone! :)

Looks like we're already 1 week into the jam!

I hope you're all doing good in your projects, and are having fun.

If you're feeling good about how your project is coming along. You can post your progress here!

You don't have to show off your work if you don't want to, by all means, keep it a surprise until the end.

Sure, go ahead. Just as long as you do have their consent/permission.

You're free to use a library, go ahead.

Of course. The only thing that you should truly do yourself, is the programming aspect.

Good luck!

For any of you last-minute team builders, you can use this thread to post a little about yourself, in hopes of teaming up to win the big prize.

I recently started a jam of my own around 2 days ago.

It's starting in 10 days, but it's not showing up on the main game jam page, there's ones on there that start in "months" and yet mine isn't showing?

Are the featured jams just that, featured and hand chosen by the staff? How can I get mine to show?
