I like the idea, it’s very unique but I think you need to add more urgency, like your battery is low but for some reason you can’t charge your laptop so you have to do your presentation quickly.

Another idea is make multiple ways of connecting the connectors but then what connectors you use (vga or other old connectors might decrease the quality of the presentation and newer ones like hdmi will increase quality) and how you connect your connectors (maybe have a few switches that the player has to configure) will impact the quality of your presentation.

As for other stuff that you probably should improve, you should make a better tutorial because I don’t really like reading a wall of text before playing the game. And moving the connectors around was a bit fiddly, maybe you can make connectors easier to rotate?

Anyway, good job with the game, especially with just 48 hours!

I really like the idea of this game but it was a bit difficult for me. Maybe you could make the disconnect distance longer and increase the fire rate.

I really loved this game, the physics were interesting, it feels really well polished and experimenting with the bridge drawing system was fun.

I really loved the concept and presentation of the game even though I’m not very good at the game.

If you want to improve the game, you can add audio and maybe a few more puzzles and maybe find a way to make it easier for the player. For example you could allow your computer to offload some more complicated/bulk puzzles to other computers in exchange for significant number of easy messages/slightly harder but less quantity of puzzles.

Maybe for the higher difficulties, you’re one of the computers that have to handle the harder tasks and you can split the easier tasks of your workload off to other computers for less but slightly harder tasks.

I’m not really sure if this makes sense to you as I don’t know how I can explain it better. But anyway, good job on the game!

I really liked the art style. The slingshot mechanic feels satisfying however there are some levels where precision is really needed and I wasn’t a big fan of that as it made those levels fairly hard and I had to try multiple times.

Your WebGL build doesn’t work and you have no downloadable version of the game. Were you using an older version of Unity? I have encountered this issue before where the WebGL build just doesn’t work on the default compression and I think it’s been fixed in a newer version of Unity.

It’s a fun game but I would like to see the tank and plane depend on each other more so that it fits the theme better. Maybe you add a mechanic where you can pick up your tank for a short period of time and then you can use the tank in the sky and then add enemies that fly that need the firepower of the tank. Other than that, I think you should improve the graphics and audio. Anyway, I think you did a good job for 48 hours.

The movement feels very satisfying but the difficulty of the level ruined it. I would suggest making the levels a bit easy. Other than that, I really liked the game.

The idea of the game is interesting but the controls were a bit fiddly. You can’t always pick up the ball, it’s hard to get up steps with the ball but you can easy get up steps and you are able to jump without the ball but with the ball you cannot jump. The enemies are also a bit hard to kill. On some enemies you would only need 1 or 2 shots to kill but others took more shots. Also the play again and quit buttons don’t work.

Good game! You should make it clearer which character is moving because both characters also move and you get confused as for which one is moving because you forgot exactly which keys move which characters.

Like what jurifrog said, you should make magnets affect the characters. And maybe add some more puzzle elements and polish it up and you can probably release this as a full game.

The controls were a bit difficult to use thus I couldn’t complete level 1.

Great game! I really loved the art style and the game idea. If you can add more levels and maybe make them bigger then that would be great. You should also add some more mechanics to make the puzzles more interesting. I can definitely see this becoming a full game!

Thank you!

What bits were confusing?

What colliders are off? Are you talking about this? This is intended behaviour.

Anyway, what else did you like and didn’t like about the game?

Thanks for the feedback!

Is there anything else you liked and didn’t like about the game?

Fun game but the controls are meh. I don’t know why I feel like the controls are meh but they just feel meh for me. It’s a good take on the theme.

Thank you!

At the time of development, we didn’t think that we didn’t need to give the player any direction.

The game fits the theme because when you finish the level you rewind back to level 1 for some weird reason that you need to find out and stop.

Anyway, what else did you like and didn’t like about the game?

I do agree that the game lacks a challenge and is sort of boring. I was actually expecting bad reviews about the game being boring. However we sadly didn’t have time to think of some ideas to make the game more fun and implement them. I’d say that it was time issues (my timezone and the rest of my team’s timezone is a 14 hour difference) and we probably think of ideas better as a group.

Thank you!

This is a bug that I knew about didn’t really bother to fix for some reason. Maybe because it didn’t cause many problems in the Unity Editor. It would be an easy fix but I just didn’t bother as I didn’t see it as a problem at the time.

I know the main menu is a bit confusing and I should have made it also reacting to clicking too. You are supposed to bounce back when you collide with the viruses thus making it impossible to push the viruses but we did not have time for that.

Anyway, what else did you like and didn’t like about the game?

Thank you!

Player movement is one of the buggiest parts of the game and I tried my best to fix all the bugs but some will remain. For the menu, I probably should have also had the buttons react to click but I didn’t think of it at the time it would be such a big issue.

What else did you like and didn’t like about the game? I will check out your game tomorrow.

I can only speak on the programming (as that’s what I did) and maybe a little bit of game/level design (as I’m not the main person who started this).

I probably should have made the buttons react to clicking too but also preserving the menu I have right now.

I also probably should have made that pit fall. I actually suggested it should make you fall and end the game but there was a collider and the main person said it was intentional so I left it alone.

I also probably should have just used physics material instead of going through all the trouble with the player movement and jump.

Thank you!

Do you still like how I did the main menu? I know it was confusing for you but I’d like to know if you like it or not.

The player movement is by far the buggest thing in the game. I tried my best to iron out every bug but some may remain. The reason why I didn’t look into physics material is that it would be more work. Now that I think about it I probably should have just used physics materials instead as it saves a lot of headache.

As for the holes but you don’t fall, are you talking about this? This is intended behaviour.

We are aware of this animation with the robot bug but sadly we did not have time to fix it.

Anyway, what else did you like and didn’t like about the game?

I do agree that the gameplay is a bit bland but this is a game jam (and our second game jam too) and we wouldn’t have time for that.

What are the problems in the controls? Is the player movement a bit buggy? I’m sorry about that but I tried my best to perfect the player movement but inevitably there are going to be bugs.

Anyway, what else did you like and didn’t like about the game?

We were going to improve the environment but sadly the tileset was deleted and we did not have the time to make a new one. We also had different enemies but sadly we also did not have time to implement those.

What do you mean by in level design try to steer the player a bit more? Do you mean make it more interesting?

Anyway, what else did you like and not like? I will check out your game tomorrow.

Thank you!

For the invisible floor do you mean this? This is intentional

What do you mean by some parts have jumps?

Anyway, what else did you like and didn’t like about the game? I will check out your game tomorrow.

Simple and addictivle gameplay. I liked it. The graphics were nice too

This game is amazing! The game is really fun and addictive. The graphics and audio are great and I never encountered any problems in the game

Relaxing game. The music was good.

Great game! I loved it! The audio is also fairly good too.

Here’s my unfinished game https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/720016

I’ll check yours out

The game is alright but it could use some checkpoints.

Great game! The mechanics are rather interesting. The graphics and audio are good.

This game is nice but it definitely needs to be expanded on as the game isn’t great in the current state.

I rated your game already but here is my (unfinished) game anyway: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/720016

The game seeems good but I suck at the game and didn’t get very far. The graphics are pretty nice.

A good puzzle game. I really like the graphics

Nice game! It’s fairly fun and I really like the aesthetics
