Wow this looks really good! I like how you combine story and tactics mechanic together.

Very cool for the first project! 

It's complicated question. But I come up with using RigidBody and AddForce or changing velocity in RB directly in FixedUpdate. Also I disabling gravity in RB and use my own Gravity through AddForce. Unity's is too slow for me usually. 
Also there is many additional magic like clamping max velocity to not go too high. Adjusting acceleration and physics material friction etc.

So there are many little things to create perfect controller and there is no certain answer. You need to experiment and compare/analyze movement with the games you like. But you you use physics in any way I don't recommend move objects through Transform.

I prefer to develop solo but I will ask you for help if I decide to create a team for this project. Thank you)

Yeah, I am going to work on this game farther and making something real out of it. Not sure about battle arena but I gonna add some commands to control other chickens like go there or patrol this place.

Multiplayer is something I want too, It's perfectly fits the game. But it will be much later if the game will become something people are interested in.

Both game idea and its implementation. I am impressed. Also it works! I mean sometimes there is a good idea but bad implementation. But it's not your case.

Beautiful art and effects and animations. They all work together. Game mechanics besides main one are well implemented. I only wish it was longer.

Also it doesn't work in Chrome for some reason. But I tried it in Firefox and there it works fine. I am glad that I tried it in different browser before go away.

Great work on level design. It has potential. You can't just go and kill enemies you need to do it in a smart way. Kill one then take a coin then kill another one etc. A little health managing. Idk. I can't really explain but I like how levels are made. Also jump feels smooth I like it =)

I like it! It looks like a boss fight from some cool game) 

Also I like pixel art part of the game) I whish textures on 3d objects were in pixel art style too. So the whole picture can come together. But anyway it looks cool!

This is one of the best games so far in my opinion! 
Visuals - I like when people can do much with less. It is pretty simple but design and implementation are perfect. I like it! Also I like that you spent some time to make grass moving when you go through it. A little detail but I enjoyed it. 
Concept of the game is great! It's not just "die to go farther" it's like a quest but you gained new items by dying in certain way - It is really smart. And I really wanted to know what next and explore this world to find more ways to die XD

Also yeah. Cow is looking kinda suspicious --.
I will keep an eye on it.

I like the main concept. Health is a weapon, currency and main resource to investigate the world. I death is your way to upgrade yourself. I like it ) 

But character controller not very responsive and heavy.

Really like character design here. Even though it is simple but it is well implemented =)

I really getting satisfaction when attack enemies. I don't know why exactly but it so responsive and damage feedback is nice. Love it :)

A little bit heavy and slow. But main problem - yeah, stuck on the wall and platforms.

I like the visuals! But it very hard to stay alive...

Looking interesting but I can't do anything ( After I click mouse button - I can't do anything. At start I can just press Enter. But when card game begins I cannot do anything neither with keyboard nor with a mouse =(

I like the concept. It is pretty unique and promising!

Can't defeat the boss. After I accidentally touch the ghost - hearts stop dealing damage to enemies. Or it was coincidence idk, but anyway after some point hearts stop act like a weapon.

But I art of the characters) Also I like second level design. It remind me a maze but with side view it's interesting conception for a platformer.  At least in my opinion) 

I don't quite understand how but I complete it) 
Visuals are simple but a little relaxing.

And I don't understand why am I sometimes go through walls. As I understand it was done on purpose because without this I cannot complete any level. But it looks like a bug of collision)

Controls make this game hard to play, but I like the idea =)

And this mechanic of helping souls are great and interesting because it's not like 100x souls with same dialog but unique ones. And this is keeps interest up)
