"The price tag isn't unreasonable at all"

Except it is because the art isn't exclusive.

Price of AAA game when bought by millions of people: $60

Price of AAA game when bought by one person: $10,000,000+

Edit: I was wrong and I apologize to the artist.

Found these when hovering over classes in a character's classes screen.

TRAITTRAP_DETECTIONDESCRIPT
PROFGEISHADESCRIPT
SKILLMAKE_UNDEAD
SKILLPROTECT
SKILLCONSUME_SOUL

Quick fix (disables tutorials):

Open /src/TutorialNode.gd and add "return" after line 24 so it looks like this:

func rebuild():
    return
    if state.show_tutorial == false:

Or just hide the tutorials instead of dismissing them.

Hovering over the buttons also didn't change their state.  I think it's related to dismissing the tutorials because the introduction tutorial popup covers some of the unclickable buttons (save and load). Sometimes I would click and a popup would ask if I'd like to disable tutorial tips. Eventually I did and all the buttons worked again. No errors in the console.

Edit: I confirmed by adding prints in the source that the tutorial buttons (except for the dismissed one(s)) were still capturing input after being dismissed.

Output:

show_tutorial_window - introduction
confirm_message
hide_text_window
show_tutorial_window - slavetab

How to reproduce:

1. Restart Strive and create a new game and characters.

2. Click the introduction tutorial button and dismiss it.

3.  Click one of the characters in the population box then close the character screen.

4. Click where the tutorial buttons should be located.

5. Open the menu and you will be unable to click the save and load buttons if you clicked a tutorial button in step 4.

Using only DPS and the cost, what's the formula to determine if it's better to place multiple of the same tower or purchase an upgrade?

Example data:

level 1 - total_cost: 2000, dps: 6.66

level 2 - total_cost: 2250, dps: 6.66

level 3 - total_cost: 2775, dps: 13.33

level 4 - total_cost: 4775, dps: 16.67

Level 3 + Level 0 is more efficient than Level 4.

Godot.

"Godot is completely free and open-source under the very permissive MIT license. No strings attached, no royalties, nothing. Your game is yours, down to the last line of engine code."

https://godotengine.org/showcase

Yes, but not before 3.0. No WASD camera movement made it difficult to edit games. It also didn't become open source until 2014. But now, there's still some missing features like decals, and bugs that make you lose hope. Another huge one is lack of tutorials. I haven't found any place that explains how to use the different joints.

This thread is now dedicated for ingame typos.

Was really looking forward to the update :/

Game version: 0.5.18c

1. Set music volume to 0

2. Save the game

3. Music will start playing

Also, when I load a save with music volume at 0 then increase the volume, the music doesn't start playing immediately

I got the event where a slave shows up to your mansion and you can choose to keep them. Selecting the slave gives this error:
SCRIPT ERROR: updatestats: Invalid get index 'person' (on base: 'Dictionary').
At: res://files/scripts/slave_tab.gdc:815

Some event from hunting where your slave brings back a lost person:
"What would you like to do with $him?"
Choosing to imprison them gives this error and they aren't added to your slaves:
SCRIPT ERROR: captureslave: Invalid get index 'names' (on base: 'Dictionary').
At: res://files/scripts/exploration.gdc:1151

"She then continues with a slight change in tone."
"meet her in the same place as last time in 10 minutes.in 10 minutes to the"

"tries to look away, beginning to feel aroused in spite of herself as {^both of your:your} bodies entwine."
"quickly edging toward her peak as {^both of your:your} bodies entwine."
"You come across a pair of thugs bullying a bystrander." <-- bystrander -> bystander
"No, after I was kidnaped" <-- kidnaped -> kidnapped

When I rescued a bystander and asked for a material reward, they gave me a weapon and I'm 99.9% certain I added it to my backpack but when I checked, it was nowhere to be found (including in my storage). I had over 40 weight remaining so that's not it.
Edit: The weapon appears in the party inventory screen that shows after a fight, but not anywhere in the mansion. It's the blue aura(?) dagger that gives +4 speed.

When hovering over the Headgirl job while someone else is already assigned to it, the tooltip has no background and the text is black so it's hard to read.

When I chose to return Tia, I left to town and it said "Wimborn [Deep Area]".
After I went back for my reward, I chose to decline the gold but I didn't get any extra communal room beds.

I was about to edit a script to see why my slave wasn't meeting the requirements for a quest, only to find out the scripts are compiled now. :(
Or does Godot 3 do this by default?

I don't think the changelog background is supposed to look like that in 0.5.5c. It seems the options menu has a similar problem.

When I sent Emily on vacation to level her up, her image was still showing.

It keeps getting harder and harder, but more in a time-consuming and less quality-of-life kind of way.

It was much more enjoyable when:
    No food limit / spoilage
Didn't need extra items to capture NPC
    Easier to get money
    No communal room slave limit
Was possible to win fights at the start
    Mansion upgrades only needed gold

I don't really enjoy the game anymore. Can't earn gold at the beginning and all I can do is hunt / forage for a while to keep my food supply up. Maybe it's because of how I play.

Your browser should let you copy the download link in the downloads manager, though I'm not sure if the link can only be used once because some sites do that

If that doesn't work, you can use Free Download Manager and make it only catch downloads when Alt is pressed

1. 0.4.48b

2. Windows

3.

 • I had a pregnant slave and I sold her, then a few days later I received a message about the baby and she (the slave) was added to my residents
 • For Emily, I need to unlock intimacy to level her up but it doesn't work if you unlock it by doing the quest
 • In dailyevents.gd forestfind(), the "$him" in "What would you like to do with $him?" doesn't get replaced
 • Typo - questtext.gd ChloeShaliqTakeMana - orgrasm -> orgasm
 • When purchasing some mansion upgrades, it says you obtain mansion upgrade points
 • The "Master's Bed Enlargement" upgrade doesn't specify the upgrade point cost
 • In questtext.gd CaliVillageRefuseReward, "Your communal room take 2 more persons now" should be removed since the quest gives upgrade points now
 • In questtext.gd ChloeGroveSex, there's an extra "" at the end
 • Typo - questtext.gd EmilyShowerSex - "As you greedily suck on her month"

I was unable to replicate the first bug and I no longer have the save
