Love it! It really tickles my brain in such a good way. Love your choice to use a clean sounding electric guitar with the synth sounds in first track, it works so well! And yesss on the other reviewer mentioning C418. Before I even read their review, I immediately thought of mice of venus with the ending of the first track. And really cool atmosphere and vibe that you set with the second track. This was so good, awesome job!

Super diverse OST! Love the quaint, orchestral tracks and the atmospheric electronic stuff and the funk track! It all came together very well and always gotta love live recordings when they happen, especially with wind instruments. Very expertly composed too, def can tell there is a strong background in music theory with the odd time signatures and chord progressions. Awesome job!
Lol yeah, i chose my own because of the part under the theme that said "Note: The themes here are more like an inspiration, and strictly speaking there are no specific "musical theme" for you to follow and that you can compose in any genre you want, so the submissions can be as diverse as possible." but then I saw that pretty much no one else chose their own theme (as far as I know) so I might have misunderstood it 😅 they might have just meant that you can compose in any style :P
Thank you! :)
Didn't read the influences at first and already like 5 seconds into the first track, I'm like "wow, i love these Quake vibes" and sure enough Quake was on your list lol. Very cool! The 90's/2000's shooter genre will always be my fav! I was even getting Metroid Prime vibes kinda in parts of track 9 and 10. Awesome job!
Wow, only 1 month?? That's amazing! I'm in the opposite boat where I've learned theory for a long time but I'm a total beginner when it comes to production, like using a DAW and effects and EQ and all that lol. But if that's what you can compose after only 1 month, then I can't wait to hear what you can make after a year!
Oo i love these tracks! Totally sound like songs that I would just listen to just for fun and most likely gonna add these songs to one of my playlists to jam to lol. I also love how each track has a different unique feel and personality yet they all still sound like they would definitely come from the same game. Really nice!
Hi! I'm a musician/music teacher with almost 20 years of experience, but relatively new (about last 1-2 years) to FL and would love to work on a first jam! So far, it's mostly chiptune/8-bit stuff but I also have experience in composing orchestral music, rock/punk, atmospheric/ambient, and I'm also open to other styles as well. Hey, I'm Ryan! I am a drummer/percussionist with over 15 years of experience of playing and I also have studied composition for several years in college as well. I've picked up music production and working with DAW's for the past two years. I enjoy making chiptune-y music but I also have experience in composing orchestral music and rock/punk as well, and I'm also open to other styles as well. Here are some samples of mine and I will be updating it as I make more as well: https://soundcloud.com/ryan-jaccoi?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_camp...
