Love it! It really tickles my brain in such a good way. Love your choice to use a clean sounding electric guitar with the synth sounds in first track, it works so well! And yesss on the other reviewer mentioning C418. Before I even read their review, I immediately thought of mice of venus with the ending of the first track. And really cool atmosphere and vibe that you set with the second track. This was so good, awesome job!

Very cool! The JRPG influence is definitely showing! Wonderful job combining that light, quaint orchestral with a foreboding and ominous vibe. Beautiful orchestration and compositions! Awesome job!

Super diverse OST! Love the quaint, orchestral tracks and the atmospheric electronic stuff and the funk track! It all came together very well and always gotta love live recordings when they happen, especially with wind instruments. Very expertly composed too, def can tell there is a strong background in music theory with the odd time signatures and chord progressions. Awesome job!

Lol yeah, i chose my own because of the part under the theme that said "Note: The themes here are more like an inspiration, and strictly speaking there are no specific "musical theme" for you to follow and that you can compose in any genre you want, so the submissions can be as diverse as possible." but then I saw that pretty much no one else chose their own theme (as far as I know) so I might have misunderstood it 😅  they might have just meant that you can compose in any style :P

Thank you! :)

Very chill! Like others are saying, really good blend of electronic and more orchestral/ambient sounds, worked very together! Instrument choice and overall orchestration was incredible. I loved it, awesome job!

Thank you for such a thorough review! Hadn't heard sonic 3's ost but as soon as I listened to it, I could totally see it!

Didn't read the influences at first and already like 5 seconds into the first track, I'm like "wow, i love these Quake vibes" and sure enough Quake was on your list lol. Very cool! The 90's/2000's shooter genre will always be my fav! I was even getting Metroid Prime vibes kinda in parts of track 9 and 10. Awesome job!

Wonderful sounds throughout and loved how the 2nd track seamlessly went through different genre and mood shifts and it all worked together very well! Awesome job!

Love the jovial feel of the overall ost! Put a smile on my face almost right away, great job!

Absolutely lovely! Very cool how you were able to seamlessly go through different feelings like serene and mysterious/foreboding, back to a calming vibe. Incredible composition and really moving! Awesome job!

Very cool how you used the water/dripping sounds to turn into the first melody, and really cool overall vibe! I loved it!

Very cool and chilling! Love the DnB sections and I feel like I even heard some like HL2 vibes in there at points. Very nice!

Incredibly high quality and invokes a lot of imagery just from listening! Love the tone shifts, each one was done very well, good job!

Thank you so much! Much appreciated :)

Very charming and nostalgic to listen to, love the vibe of it! Awesome job!

Thanks, means a lot!

Wow, only 1 month?? That's amazing! I'm in the opposite boat where I've learned theory for a long time but I'm a total beginner when it comes to production, like using a DAW and effects and EQ and all that lol. But if that's what you can compose after only 1 month, then I can't wait to hear what you can make after a year!

This is so good! Each song has their own character and feel, yet still feels intergral and connected to the overall theme and vibe. Wonderful orchestration and phrasing, I loved it!

Absolutely beautiful composition, great layering, wonderful orchestration and development! It also says a lot when your music is so emotional and moving without there being an actual source material to see apart from the story/theme you wrote out. Amazing!

Wow, that was amazing! A lot of moments really captured that calm, serene, and inspiring feel perfectly. I also loved the abrupt genre shifts in a couple of the tracks and they were a really cool change of pace, worked very well! Really awesome!

Oo i love these tracks! Totally sound like songs that I would just listen to just for fun and most likely gonna add these songs to one of my playlists to jam to lol. I also love how each track has a different unique feel and personality yet they all still sound like they would definitely come from the same game. Really nice!

Love the atmosphere, really chill vibes and tickles my brain in the best of ways! Awesome!

Very good, loved the composition, especially in those first two songs with the more "simple" diatonic phrases happening along side more nuanced and chromatic/modal harmonies. The descriptions for each track are also very imaginative and bring even more meaning to each track.

Very cool atmosphere and sounds chosen! Also love the overall musicality of the last tune with the time signature changes and extended harmonies!

Thanks!

Thank you so much! This is my first time ever submitting any compositions, trying to get into it so that means a lot :)

Hi! I'm a musician/music teacher with almost 20 years of experience, but relatively new (about last 1-2 years) to FL and would love to work on a first jam! So far, it's mostly chiptune/8-bit stuff but I also have experience in composing orchestral music, rock/punk, atmospheric/ambient, and I'm also open to other styles as well. Hey, I'm Ryan! I am a drummer/percussionist with over 15 years of experience of playing and I also have studied composition for several years in college as well. I've picked up music production and working with DAW's for the past two years. I enjoy making chiptune-y music but I also have experience in composing orchestral music and rock/punk as well, and I'm also open to other styles as well. Here are some samples of mine and I will be updating it as I make more as well: https://soundcloud.com/ryan-jaccoi?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_camp...
