Thanks so much JOS! I'm definitely working on it for after the jam ends. and I'm totally going to include controller support! :)

I'm glad you liked it, thanks!

pretty amazing how you can make a couple of boxes so expressive, I really felt it. :(

everything was perfect from in terms of the story, art and music and sound design. this is great!

This is really well done, the design, writing and art are all A1! The sounds and ambience really added to the immersivity. Incredible job!

Loved the story, the wolf gave me a hard time but I somehow managed to beat his ass eventually after like 2 tries.

I'm a really big fan of 2.5D games like this, so I personally really enjoyed the look and aesthetic of the game. Y'all did great!

heyy I finally got the good ending! I loved the art and setting. the music also tied it all together.

10/10 would accept cookies from a fairy again.

great work!

thanks a lot! as stated under other comments, due to time constraints I made the game just end there, leaving it at a cliffhanger, but I could've made that more obvious lmao

Thanks a lot, appreciate the feedback!

thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it. as for the final level, it's supposed to flash white and end leaving the battle at a cliffhanger (totally not due to time constraints lmao.)

and for the lag, thanks for letting me know about it, hadn't playtested it enough on browsers. I'll look into it.

this is some really gnarly stuff! I loved the setting and the characters. everything was perfect from start to finish, great job! :)

This was a really fun game. I quite liked the attack mechanic. I also found killing mobs really satisfying so I just sat there killing mobs for the next five minutes despite already sitting on a ton of coins lol.

Great job guys!

Here's mine!

cool art and mechanics. pretty good stuff.

though just like everyone else, I got stuck at the third stage. I tried making the jump a couple of times but kept failing and eventually gave up.

but hey, at least I'm rich!

I enjoyed this sweet little playthrough. The art and music are just insane. Great work!

Ahhh that makes sense, super cool take on the theme :)

I'm think I'm going to go to a corner and cry now, thanks.

Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it! :)

Man that really sucks, I'm so sorry that happened. The game does look like it would've been promising if things had worked out. You still gave it your all and that's what matters! :)

It's a short and sweet game. Gameplay is fun and aesthetics are cute! Also, love the tiles that spell out BYOG at the end, nice touch.

Oh wow, this is relaxing as hell. The art and music are so good! It does make total sense and I'd probably be a farmer as well if I was spawned into an 8-bit town simulation game, so definitely sounds like me.

Gotta love the concept and execution. Everything is so random, but it's exactly what it's not supposed to do. Good job guys!

I think my brain hurts a little.

Its so nicely polished, and the mechanics? Love it! You guys did great!

I don't know what's going on, but I think monishd has a point, it works perfectly with the theme lol

Thank you for playing our game, I'm glad you liked it! :)

Ahaha, thanks a lot! :)

Bludgeoned someone to death with a dungeon door key, but then got beaten up by a mob. it really does sound like me.

It's a fun little game, but it takes a little figuring out to get used to. I think the gameplay is exactly what makes you go like "It's not supposed to do that?!", so spot on for nailing the theme.

Why does this feel illegal?

I think this game is pretty much flawless. It's so chaotic and everything, including the vehicle controls, music, and pixel art all work so well together

Nice concept, and attacking samurais has never felt so satisfying!! The core game loop is nice, maybe you should continue working on it and make it a bit more interesting.

My only question is how the game ties in with the theme, maybe you could explain?

The gameplay is really fun!! I loved the aesthetic and level design, really well made.

Curse those traffic cones though.

Got jump-scared by a man in the nude, I have no regrets.

Edit: Just finished the game, pretty good game. It's amazing how you guys made this in such a small span of time.

Oh, the horrors I've been through.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you :)

Oh silly me,  I should've caught on. And yesss, that was the first thing I did. it's cute how you guys took time to sneak that in, cool little gimmick! :)

This is a really cool concept for a sandbox-puzzle game. You should continue working on it and make it a full game!

The game is really cute! The art's really cool and gameplay really had me on the edge. I think the music could be a bit more chaotic given the way game is, but it was a fun little game overall!

ps. despite the warning that itch gives when trying to download the game, it's completely safe so don't worry about that.

Cute aesthetics, and really love the subtle volumetric lighting.

The gameplay is fun, but I think I sweated a little.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it. The game was intended to be an unfinished dungeon side-scroller, where the assets and textures would disappear and reappear randomly to add to the theme. Bummer we ran out of time.
