I am Lamb (she/her)!

I have a few years of experience with Godot 3 and 4, though I’d like to use this game jam as an opportunity to improve as a programmer and work with a team! You can try an unfinished game I made for GBJam last year called Witch Brew Dive (password: 1).

I have experience as a composer! You can listen to a song I’ve created here ! In terms of music, I feel that I’m most comfortable with melodic music as I am a pianist. I am able to do chiptunes in Furnace Tracker and non-chiptunes in Reaper!

I work part-time currently, but I do try my best to maintain a social life with my partners.

How new are we talking here? I have over 200 days experience with Godot and would like to work with people who have at least some handle with the engine. What sort of things have you created so far?

I’ve had a dream to make a Zelda 64-like game that closely resembles OoT and MM for many years. Now that I’m more comfortable with Godot, I feel like achieving that dream is closer. Working on such a project solo would probably be a bad idea, so I thought I’d offer others the opportunity to work together, learn together, and collaborate on such a project.

I’m working on playing through Majora’s Mask right now and have written down some notes on game design. I’ve found a set of shaders that recreates the look of N64 graphics. I’m researching sequenced music to achieve an N64-like quality.

I’ve never worked with others on a project before and I’ve only worked in 2D in Godot. If I’m premature in seeking to help make a 3D action-adventure game at all, I understand. I am just a hobbyist composer and programmer, but I’d like to one day work on things with others to make cool, meaningful works of art!

If Annalyn MD game came out on SNES in the 90s this would have been probably more enjoyed than Dr. Mario (imo). I absolutely love the expressive Annalyn sprites, she is very very very very very vvvv pretty :3

Really fun! I liked it a lot! :>

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I only had time enough to make one level, but I am working hard on the game still and plan to release it before November! If you like, I can reply to your comment when it's finished! ^^

I think the Michael Jackson cover will almost certainly disqualify this game, but I do love me some Thriller.

YAY! I'm so glad that you liked it! I'm still working on the game and I plan for it to be finished before November! Thank you again!! ^_^ ^_^

This game is pretty hard, which makes sense for the Game Boy vibe. I think part of that is because I'm playing with the keyboard and not a gamepad, I've never been good at platformers with keyboard controls. I will say that the knife-bat combo makes for a great speedrun tool lol ^_^

Very fun! I like this a lot :>

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! ☺️☺️☺️

Thank you!! I will be working on giving it sound and fleshing out the game and intend for it to be ready before November!

Thank you!!! ^_^ Would you mind if I replied to this comment to let you know when the game is complete? :D

I think if that were the only song throughout the whole game, it would get stale and repetitive very quick! I do intend on finishing the game before November, including adding new music!

I'm glad you enjoyed it despite its incompleteness! Thank you for playing!!! <3

Thank you!!! I loved Akumanor Gaiden!!! ^^

The background and character art are amazing! I love how detailed yet clear the characters are even at such a low resolution!

I liked it! There were some interesting ways to get candy besides just knocking on doors, it was pretty neat! I think I got 36.

Thank you!!

I didn't have any time to work on music or sound effects before the deadline, but I do intend to finish the game before November. I did also get some feedback before about adding more frames to the stirring animation and I will absolutely do that. I was worried extra polish would take away from the limited Game Boy feel (and also I was short on time), but it seems like something people really want.

If you're interested in seeing the final game, I recommend following and checking in sometime before November! :D

Thank you!!!!! 😭😭🙏🙏 I hope to finish the game before November! I appreciate that you've enjoyed it and want to see more very much!!!

Understandable! I'm sure after making something this nice by yourself it must have been a lot of work. When you do recover, I'm looking forward to what you make in the future! :3

I love the Asian mythological creatures as enemies in this game! It adds a layer of interest beyond the generic "spooky" theme. The game is great! I think with extra dev time this could turn out to be a fantastic game.

That's a very cool and underrated thing you're offering to others! If my game were for Game Boy, I would absolutely take you up on this offer

Thank youuu! They are very fun to make :)

Thank you!! I do intend on finishing the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it!!!

Thank you! I'm glad you like Sally :3 I'm glad you were able to appreciate it even despite its unfinished state! Your comment made me smile!

Would you mind if I replied to your comment when the game is finished/more finished to notify you?
