This is an incredible game! Despite it being somewhat low-fi, it's still addictively fun to play! It's 10x more fun than some of these really fancy looking games. The mechanics are intuitive, the puzzles are challenging yet fun, the vibe and sounds are perfectly spooky. The necrology stats are a nice touch, too. I think you're a very talented game dev. Thanks for the fun game!

If I was supposed to jump over the house in the last level, then there should have been a checkpoint near it because I gave up having to run the 2-minute length at the beginning of the level—it was way too tedious to repeat every time.
Overall, it was a fun little game. The voiceover was *chef's kiss*—It was weirdly funny and I didn't have to read, so extra points for that!
I think the "spooky" vibe this was trying to achieve at the end could have had a lot more to it, but again, maybe there was and I just missed it because I gave up running that stretch every time.
Still, it was cute, fun, and interesting. So, thanks!
The design and animation of the Mummy are fantastic! It’s so cute and clever how he turns into a little pile of rags! LOL Overall, the game is really fun and spooky, with a lot of potential for future updates. It reminds me a lot of "Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee." Incorporating some ideas from that could make this game even more amazing.
It took me a while to realize that you can walk in front of the window even with the peepers there because their field of detection is narrower than the window. You might consider visually showing that detection area somehow, just to make it a little clearer.

This is a FANTASTIC game!! It's so much fun. It has a cult-classic vibe with the characters and style (I already want to cosplay the main character). It feels old-school but still fresh and engaging. I adore all spooky-themed games, and this one ranks very high on the spookiness scale. I loved it so much!
My only suggestion for a future update would be to add a way to increase hearts. As other comments have mentioned, the game can be quite difficult. I found climbing the ladders essentially pointless since you still face the same number of enemies, so perhaps the upper levels could be used to collect extra hearts, making the game more strategic and replayable.

The kingdom of God split into bloody rivals, ancient empires shattered into pieces, and every soul cowered under a tyranny that made faith punishable by flames. Confessions were forced from trembling lips, heretics burned alive, and the cries of the innocent echoed across generations… all to end up a tiny little pixel game 500 years later. From tragedy to kitsch, as the saying goes. Anyway, fun game.
A pumpkin named Mark who's in a fight with his pumpkin girlfriend?! LULZZ! That's hilarious! I really LOVE this game! It's super fun and engaging. I think the overall concept and the costume changing is so fun and clever. The sound design is excellent! And I love all the little easter eggs to find through out. It's an awesome Halloween game!
There is so much potential here to make it perfect if you ever decide to update it (5 years later 🥴). There should definitely be some kind of feedback (even a sound) when pressing J at the houses because it's confusing at first. I would also love to see more things to do/interact with the different costumes/characters. And more power-ups like the double-jump with the mummy. It's such a fun game that I just want more!
I love when Chat Foncé wears the mummy costume because he still looks like a cat. I think you should do that for all of them LOL Like he's an "imposter" but they don't know it. I mean, yes, his ears stick out already on the others, but more! IDK It would just be cute and funny. Overall, a very enjoyable game that was really fun! Thanks! 😺

Just played Leading the Soul with this cute lil' guy, and he was a star! Just loved him! Fit right into the world. Spooky, cute, and excellently animated! Awesome character!
WOW WOW!!! LOVE this game!!! It's awesome! I love the little characters, especially the exploding guy with antlers, he's so cute and spooky! All of the characters have amazing designs, and their animations (like the mushroom guy's death) are fantastic! The world design is excellent. The sound design is excellent. The game play is creative and engaging, and also very smooth and responsive. The boss level (spoiler!) is so scary with that death character and that voice! OMG Terrifying! And the ending is beautiful with all the ghost floating by! Excellent, excellent game!
I only wish that it was longer! I wish there were more levels. I wish there were more enemies. It's a very enjoyable and replay-able game, but I feel like there's so much more left for this amazing game!
I will also say that the instructions are a little confusing. It took me a while to figure out you needed to possess the characters in a particular order. Also, sometimes the characters disappeared completely, while other times they turned transparent, and I still don't know why? It didn't prevent me from enjoying the game, but rewording the instructions could help a little. Oh, and I didn't know that I was in the boss level at first, so it was frustrating that he wasn't dying and I didn't know why. Maybe add a title screen saying "BOSS" or "FINAL" or something so people know.

So much potential here! I appreciate the lo-fi art style, the squirrel is really cute, and it's giving all the right autumn vibes with the pumpkins and music. But why go through all the trouble of making a game and only complete 75% of it? I was expecting each character to be interactive like the dog and to have to avoid each one or else get "caught." I also wish that the pumpkins were power-ups or something, like you start running slow but each pumpkin will build up your speed. I'm sure it took a lot of time to get this far, it just needed a little more to be really awesome. Oh well...
YES!!! This is a truly awesome game! I love it! I love the style. I love the concept. I love the pumpkin mutants. I want more! I know this game is 2 years old and no one will read this, but this game is awesome and has so much more to offer! I want more upgrades. I want more enemies. It's great as is, but I beat it too quickly, and it's rare to get this good of a spooky pixel game! Everything is awesome, I just want more — and MORE PUMPKN MUTANT HORDES!!!!!! 🎃🎃🎃

Bugs:
- If I click and drag at the menu, I get a browser error that freezes interactions. It doesn't happen during gameplay, just at the menu.
- Jumping over holes is not very responsive. No matter when I time the jump, more than half the horde falls in because the delay doesn't match the speed of the horde.
- The cars are nearly impossible to destroy. No matter how big or powerful my horde is, the cars in the later part of the game will stop them all. Like by the end of the game, I should be able to devour everything with ease, that's the fun part!
