Omg so many bugs that i don't think were supposed to be in the final build. T_T

I can tell you spent a lot of time on the controls! I didn't really feel the ritual vibe, but the light/dark mechanic seemed interesting and puzzle-y.

The UX needs work but overall a very interesting take on the theme! Downright creepy at times.

Strangely addicting lol. I couldn't stop for while but never could quite figure out how to end the game.

oooh got it! I dig it, fun take on a bob-it style rhythm game.  :)

I'm sure given more time you could flesh out a lot more, but the vibe is all there!

I think it's the start of a cool concept. I personally would like it more if it was faster paced. Just kinda up-ing the timescale on everything, the mana recharge, the spawn rate, etc.

Is this behind a paywall on purpose?

Truly creepy at times! Great job with the sound and terrifying spirits. I liked the effect where it was dark but the enemies were still somehow very visible and I frantically shined the light on them.

I don't know if it was just me but I could never find the house and my flashlight died and then I was walking around aimlessly in the dark and gave up xD

Impressive visuals, lighting, and narration! I was excited once the music kicked on but couldn't figure out what to do. :(

lol I had the same thought. Why would one do it in the non-physics process? Well unless you're just translating player movement rather than moving with physics I suppose?

Simple and effective. I like the increasing difficulty and bonuses.

I thought many times about stopping but I couldn't put it down until I got it all right haha.

Great concept! I like the play on theme, it's probably a very challenging take on the theme, but there's definitely some neat concept here to explore in this visual novel style game. The art is incredible, of course!

Great execution! I'm very bad at puzzles games apparently, it took me ENTIRELY too long to get past level 3 haha. But I love the physics rope effect and mechanics are very clear and understood! CLEAN.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the instructions don't mention needing to press a key to give people in bed the demon blood. But walking to them does nothing. :(

whew! Games tough but I got him!

Very fun little game. I appreciated so much the little things like how the slowing down of movement while taking the potion makes you have to choose between safety of being able to dodge or replenishing your ever diminishing resource. And it takes many missed shots before figuring out the boss's pathing patterns to get some shots you can count on.

Love the idea! I had to play several times to get to try all of the unique abilities.   A couple of thoughts:

  • I might have liked to choose my power a little more, so maybe if a new power replaced the currently equipped power would be more fun? Otherwise you are kinda stuck with the first power you pick up until you see BOTH an enemy with a new power you want AND an old enemy to push into the removal tile
  • I'm not sure if the 4 inputs for attacking was a design decision or an implementation issue, but I think I would feel much more comfortable if the player rotated with the movement and always attacked where they were facing with one attack key like space bar or something. I'm used to games having like WASD movement, spacebar to attack and E and Q for abilities. I know you can change keybindings, but I think as a core mechanic the 4 separate keys for each direction attack was quite difficult for me for some reason!
  • Speaking of abilities I'm not 100% sure but I think in the tutorial it mentions the abilities and all about how to do the rituals to get them/remove them (so on theme I love it), but I'm not sure you actually ever say which keys to press to activate them by default, so that took me a sec.
  • Lastly, I wish the ghost ability let me move through walls like the ghosts!

Same! But I don't need to be feared, I'm quite weak and feeble. Gl!
