Thank you!

Thank you!

Thanks for the review! Will make sure to improve scrolling asap! The artist on this game did an amazing job, they even made sprites  in the last 3 hours for the employees, but we didn't have time to include it. Will make sure to also add them in a future update

Tbh i didn't sleep during those two days but after it was finished i had a great 14 hours  of sleep ahha
I do love random events too! I felt this one was like a perfect place to put them!

Will make sure to add your suggestion about the ui improvements! Scrolling is something i'm still trying to figure out how to do correctly x..x

Thank you for playing! will make sure to improve the night UI, it does needs some love!

Thank you for taking playing and such a nice review! Yeah I thought about the confirmation, even during development i had so many times where i make mistakes ahha, we'll do a couple  of updates and make sure to add it!

(1 edit)

I can get the concept of the game, maybe you could have used free assets (or even the same sketchs) to improve visuals! I see you are using love2d, have you consider doing web exports?

If you use https://github.com/Oval-Tutu/bootstrap-love2d-project you'll be able to create web builds out of github actions.

Also, i have a tool, feather, in case you want to speedup setup, testing, and package management for love2d projects

wish i've seen this before the jam

Hey, that's what gamejams are for, learning experiences even from mistakes!

what engine are you using?

Thank you for  the extensive playthrough! I hope you had the chance to see some world random events! (I kindof regret not bumping up the RNG by default).

PD: I'm very sensitive to caffeine XD so 2 days straights without sleeping.

This has good potential! I feel like the initial upgrades might be too hight for a gamejam (i run into similar issues for my game too), love the art! Beautifully done!
Run into a crashing but when trying to go to the upgrade island where the game stopped working, but not sure why that happened since i visited multiple times before that crash.

We planned for more, but yeah we had little time, we even created sprites for the workers, but it was in the last 2 hours and had to focus on creating the web version, which was not tested before submission ahhah i wouldn't be surprised if it lagged pretty quickly, thanks for playing!

Gotcha, thanks for the hint!  Will try, i did assume a loop was involved, just couldn't figure out how to make it properly hahaha

I'm so sorry you had to go through that ahhaha XD i do have to make UI more intuitive, the idea is that you just endup always playing at x8 once everthing is setup, but yeah

Took me a couple of minutes to get used to it, but then loved it! Couldn't beat the extra level #10, i might give it a try later! Really good entry! You might want to allow playing the game on fullscreen, feel like the UI could you that real state.

Loved the art in your game!
Congrats on getting on the submission! On it's own it's already a victory!

That's really impressive!
For us it was also a test, mostly to see how we'll work together in training for the Brackeys and GMTK Jams!

Dark, very dark ahhaha but it was funny, i interpreted  it as ending global hunger by not having people with hunger  finding new ways to create food :)
The graphics at the beggining is something I might use in the future, really clever getting that from the start!

Yeah, tutorials and clearer UI is something i'll make sure to improve for a next jam, there are also hidden mechanics that now i realized should have been more obvious. Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

Noted! There are hidden mechanics but they are based on odds after the 5 night. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! Yeah we should have make the hidden mechanics a bit more obvious (bigger odds), the mayority of the game is in the night market and there are stats of what global events could have happened that affected your sales. Maybe for a v2, thanks for playing anyway!

i liked the game idea, def on theme and one thing to note is that I'm not sure if there is a way to lose as I can always make money from the carrots. I left a rating, pleas take a look at my game if you have some time.

I like this game, it's super on theme. Who made the art? It's too cute. I like that I can change my president character. Please take a look at my game if you have some time. I've given you a rating.

Sorry, like wacky jacob, I also could not play this so I can't rate it. Still, if you find some time, please take a look at my game and let me know your thoughts.

I liked that this on theme, I like that you used scratch.  overall easy to play, although I'm not sure how the pricing goes into palce like gecko studios mentioned. Please take a look at my game as well if you have some time!

I liked the game, the art was cool and easy to pplay. I like that you can eventually die. Please take a look at my game and let me know your thoughts!

I like the art on this, the game idea is super similar to mine. I had fun playing this, I think there should be a way to lose, either way please take a look at my game and let me know your thoughts

thanks for sharing all the tools you used, I noticed that even though I had enough money to make the payment i still lost. I liked the smoothness of the movement. I left a rating, please share some feedback on mine!

Definitely enjoyed this, I wish that I could see to the bottom before I fell so many times. Pretty fun! Agree with tall grass on the character sprite it .

I wish I could play this, but I'm on MacOs so I can't give it a raitng. From the screenshots it looks promising though. Would appreciate if you could play my subsmission and give some feedback.https://itch.io/jam/mini-jame-gam-56/rate/4725573

I enjoyed this quite a bit! I've been playing a lot of games in this game jam and this one was definitely the most playable. For theming, maybe baiting bunnies would've been more cool. Still super fun, Hahaha getting replaced by bots was fun. Overall pretty great game.
I also made a submission, please feel free to take  a look at it and share feedback if you have time:
