Hi everyone! I am a junior game designer/developer. With 3+ years of experience, I am comfortable using Unity and Unreal Engine (for blueprint scripting). I’ve worked on projects (preferably 3D) and quite frankly I enjoy learning new things along the process. So I am looking to have fun mostly while hoping to finish a project. If any team needs an extra designer or programmer, I am open!

Here is my previous submission from last year:

Hi everyone! I am a technical game designer. For 3+ years, I normally specialized in Unity and C# but I have self-taught myself Unreal Engine 4 and blueprint scripting for the last 5 months. I’ve worked on projects and quite frankly I enjoy learning new things along the process. So I am looking to have fun mostly while hoping to finish a project. If any team needs an extra designer or programmer, I am open!

Hi everyone! I am a game programmer/technical designer. For 3+ years, I normally specialized in Unity and C#. I’ve worked on many projects and quite frankly I enjoy learning new things along the process. So I am looking to have fun mostly while hoping to finish a project. My work schedule will probably limit me at times but I make very good progress on my end and I am very vocal and communicative about it as well. If any committed team or person needs a programmer, hmu.

This was quite a fun game and clearly well-polished. The wall jumping was annoying at times, but my interest in chasing the guy kept me going. That ending was a chef's kiss, Good job! I hope more people play this!

"Teaming up is allowed, and encouraged! Our recommendation is that you stick with 4 people maximum, otherwise you'll have a hard time coordinating in just a week."

But thanks for the feedback! :)

I liked the concept a lot! The minigames are really cool but the timer can be adjusted as the punishing for not completing can be very annoying at times. Outside of bugs here and there. There is potential here!

The online leaderboard made me go back to play again several times. The music is also fire!

Not bad! The ability the move objects around makes this entry a pretty unique concept and expansive once flesh out more! The pacing can be improved and maybe quicker but overall pretty fun game!

Fun game! I feel like fish that chase you feel a bit too fast and has a bit a large amount of damage as well but honestly that is just me. I can easily see this going mobile.

For your first game jam, not bad. The combat felt very responsive when striking enemies. When I found out they weren't coming after me I kinda just stayed to the side to see the max that can be spawned lol. Good work overall, continue improving!

This is a very good submission, I liked the environment and the lighting of all of it. The audio makes things very mysterious as they should be. I did run into a wall and then got stuck several times. Outside of that, this has a potential, good job!

You have a good prototype here along with good world-building with the assets used. However, not being able to move around with a bunch of text running like a PowerPoint show really was kinda of the game killer here. I would also add audio to make it feel more immersive since that is the goal and be sure to add a control guide outside of the starting text. Besides that good start here!

This can easily become an addictive experience. Enemies seem a bit fast but the gameplay of the light going out as you get deeper along with needing to get power really drives the theme here! Good job on this!

Nice art! but besides pressing left and right. Not sure what else to do.

This was a very interesting submission, I pretty much just ran around in each book and nothing else. I didn't get a sense of the theme while playing but I did enjoy a lot of the voice acting (except the loud ones). But for what was but together not bad!

Interesting story opener and has very nice smooth animations. I didn't get a sense of direction while playing the game but this definitely has room for improve. Nice submission.

The voice acting in this game was a HUGE eye-opener I must say. Gameplay-wise this game is very polished from world-building to movement to mechanics. Your team deserves a pat on the back for that one! The powerups didn't have any cooldowns, so I pretty much enjoyed what I was given to attack in each act very much. This is an excellent entry! Hope the team continues this.

Fun game! I enjoyed looking at the graphics and the draw effect for unlocking doors is a sweet touch and unique. Good job with this.

Nice retro game here, didn't really enjoy the other "enemies" looking like the player, I thought colliding with them would give a power-up or something. The wall damage was also kinda of a pain as well but not a deal breaker. I was able to get through hard mode with 10 tries at least. Nice job!

This is just a very visually pleasing experience. Good job on this!

The graphics are visually great along with the gameplay, I like how responsive shooting felt. Platforming can be improved (I was able to jump infinitely). The level transitions were spot on too! Good job!

Nice! I couldn't make it far due to collision hits. I recommend that missiles be pointed toward the mouse. Good start here keep going.

I spent 30 minutes reading all the statements, I pretty much just guessed at the end of it correctly. Nice game!

Very nice puzzle game, the "connect-the-dot" feel kept me going for the next few minutes. It would be nice if there was music but the game is still enjoyable. Nice job on this.

Nice start here for the time window given! There are tons of places where it can be improved or expanded on (collision, animations,....blah, blah, blah) but this is visually nice to play. Good job!

The graphics are great! along with how the narrative fits the theme and all. However, the combat could use some improvements and more feedback, enemies seemed impossible to kill at times. I think this is a nice visually polished game here with the potential to be great. Good job!

Short and sweet, that comic book-like opening was cool along with the interactions. Good camera work too!

Nice graphics, The controls are a bit unclear but I played it long enough to get it. Battles are nice, this definitely has potential once it is fleshed out more. nice job!

This was a WHOLE lot of fun to play, The tutorial is well designed, and the transition between scenes was a really cool experience. You listed bugs but honestly, it was too much fun falling and grappling to notice that for me at least lol. However, it would be nice to add a map or set the pre-zoom camera a bit further so I can see where I am jumping too. Besides that amazing submission!

I liked the graphics and music a lot here! The chain physics on the submarine made me very careful with the movement and controls with picking up the treasure. The dark levels were fun. This game is clearly polished and glad you noted the bugs to improve on! Great job here!

The atmosphere and visuals alone are really good! The idea of traveling to Mars is also great, not seeing too much gameplay besides interactions and playing with fire extinguishers. Maybe speed up the ship to get to the coordinates faster. Nice submission!

I liked the controls and the hit response feels incredibly satisfying. Not too sure what the health count was but I think I was able to finish. Sorry you got sick but you definitely have loads of room for expansion and I am glad you were able to submit. Good job on this!

Interesting concept, but I unfortunately didn't know what was going on. It seemed like the snake was moving on its own lol. With more time you can definitely flesh this out more. I noticed a bug where leaving the settings will accidentally quit the application. Nice job overall!

The game is visually pleasing and I had a pleasant experience, The one-shot death did make it frustrating to play especially with random enemies appearing out of nowhere. Maybe adding a health bar would help. Also, adjustments to the movement speed would help too but nice job here!

Oh wow, thanks for that clarification.

Procedural Generator and day systems give this game loads of replayability, the mining mechanics are a lot of fun and addicting as well. Good job!

The enjoyed the game feel and atmosphere of the area. Graphics and effects kept the game alive. Combat design can be improved (tank bullet damage is too high) but good job on this.

Nice game here, The countdown is a bit buggy and movement can be improved but nice overall.

I like the narrative approach to the game, however, it's pretty dark with not a lot going on, but the audio sounds help a lot with the immersion. Good potential here!
