Hi there,

Last month were really busy but I was working on TBC and finally I have reached the end of the project.  I have prepared a final build and after many test I can say

IT IS DONE! :)

There are few improvements in the latest demo version, which was uploaded on Itch yesterday. Player can block enemy projectiles. Some spells are unblocked from the beginning.  Full Version will be available in the end of May.

Here are some pics with a gameplay. Game starts with just few spells but progressing with campaign will unlock more perks and then gameplay is becoming a bit crazy. :)  and more fun at the same time. There are also some achievements build in the game. Hope you will have a fun.

Hello again!

After short break and with fresh news. New Demo version (0.0.6) for TBC has been uploaded today on Itch.

The most important changes in a new Demo version:

1. New location, Orcs Camp. I have prepared a few maps for this location.
2. Demo Campaign has been extended by 3 more missions. There is possibility to unlock one more spell and two additional hidden supporters. There are 3 additional enemy mobs that the player might face during the battle.
3. I have added a new tab in Camp panel dedicated to Supporters and Enemy Mobs. You can check there the strength of your and enemy units. In order to unlock information about hidden units, it will be necessary to progress with the Campaign.
4. Change a bit the shape of the platform to give a bit more control over ball bouncing direction.
5. Turn Up volume for Music, SFX and UI and modified slightly Audio Option in Menu to allow for more room for volume modification.

More maps, more fun, Cheers!

Hi there!

I have made quite significant changes to the new Demo version of TBC.

There is now a new system to cast spells. It works like this. You break boxes, get a power for every hit into the obstacles, and once the power bar is full you can cast a spell.
Power bar is on the right hand sice with an “eye”.

This allows players to cast spells more often, resupply the weapon, heal and call for supporters. The game is more fun after this change, I think.
A new version of a demo is already available on Itch page.
Have Fun!

Hi there! Hope you're all doing fine.

There are new screenshots and trailer on a TBC page, have a look.

Following several comments received, I have made few modifications to TBC:

1. Few more information in tutorial to make it a bit more clear what is happening during gameplay.
2. There were some icons that were not explained, so I've added ToolTips with explanation.
3. The first 3 missions will have now only 3 battles, to make the game for early players a bit more approachable.
4. There were few button bugs, now are fixed.
5. Some minor visual improvements.

Hope you will enjoy the game. Share your feedback afterwords! Thanks

I've also made this lovely GIF, it took me a few hours to do it just to have it for about 1 second in new trailer. Title - "Attack!"

Cheers!

Last few days are all dedicated to improvement in demo version and to polishing web assets.

There are few changes i mage for a demo version:

1. The first few comments received highlighted that the game is very difficult, and even an easy mission is too hard. I make a few modifications to make it a bit easier. Player ball will not hit player for 2 but for 1 only.
From a couple of maps, I have removed some mining carts to make it easier to send a ball on the enemy side. General number of indestructible obstacles has beer reduced but just slightly.

Enemies has all the same reload time (20s). Easy enemies have 15 health point from now on. Enemies already crying...

2. I have changed also the option that was locking the mouse to window, it is free now.

3. There was a bug that prevented spawning supporters after the first mission was completed successfully. Fixed.

4. Another bug related to localization also fixed. One more music bug also fixed.

Those are maybe not significant changes, but might make a gameplay more pleasant for new players.

Hope you will enjoy the game.

P.S. Game Logo was also changed, that is how it looks now.

Hello everyone!

I have finally managed to prepare a demo version for Tiny Breakers Camp. This is a small game, spin-off for old good brick breakers but a bit of twist and additions.

Here is a link: https://jutek-pixel.itch.io/tiny-breakers-camp

I will appreciate any feedback.
I am interested in the game performance, any potential issues, if the short trailer is explaining gameplay sufficiently.
I am also open for suggestions and ideas.

Thank you in advance.

Dev.

Hi there! Big news!

I have finally compiled a firs Demo version for TBC :)
It is already available on Itch page. In a demo you can play with one hero (knight, the others are not ready yet).
There are the first 3 missions available with some unlocks plus an easy random mission.
I manage to implement support for 4 languages, English, German, French and Polish.

You can play the game on keyboard or with game controller.

Have fun and do not forget to drop some feedback. The project is still under development, but it is going quite smooth.

 Cheers!

If you like it, then...

Hello!

Just a short update, but an important one.

I have in TBC around 200 sentences to translate. English and Polish version I did along the development process and for a past few days I am translating for French and to German.
Finally, I have finished it and implement is in the game. UI is tested, and it works great.
Compare to my previous game "Nebula" where there was only English language, this is quite a big step for me.

Hi !

I have been working on clouds for my game and recording progress at the same time. It is not so easy to draw pixel clouds, this is a first time I was doing it. Here are the results, I kind of like it.

Vide is a type of time-lapse that I am preparing for my YT account, it is very short and fast. Hope you like it.

Pixel Clouds

Hi there,

I am working on a new game, Tiny Breaker's Camp, it is a spin-off for old good brick breaker, but I have decided to place it in a fantasy world with three heroes.

The player will be able to choose hero and enter a mission where are awaiting several enemies. It is necessary to break through the boxes and barricades to get to the enemy wall and start to inflict some damage.

During battle enemies will be able to call their minions that will throw projectiles on player side. However, player will also have a chance to call some support and even collect spells.

I am slowly moving towards a demo version, I hope to have it ready in December 2023. Hope you will give it a try and let me know your opinion.

Couple of gifs here:

Trailer (but it has to be updated)

Very nice, hidden gem.

Thanks, I recently bought your font version for other languages :) I think I will use in next project as well.

In my game  I decided for the first time to use AllIn1Shader Asset and I don't regret it.

I manage to do few nice tricks thanks to it that saved me a coding time and drawing time as well.

Space ship thrusters are animated by this shader using "Wave" tool. Zero Code & zero animators, just one sprite needed.

I have around 130 different enemy ships in a game, everyone with some kind of thruster. With this tool I just draw one sprite for each truster. With standard approach I would draw probably five to six sprites per animation to create similar effect.

Outline and shine effect for all pick-ups are done in shader with an "Outline" tool and texture movement.

Movement of all the pickups is also done in the shader, ZERO code.

All the hit blink effects are managed by this shader as well.

Death animations, bloom... the list can be very long.

I am just discovering this tool but I love it already.

Highly recommended, really worth it's price!

Thanks for all the remarks, I will fix it very soon.

I am sorry for this inconvenience and thank you for you quick notice, bug is removed and i have just pushed patch 0.6.5 to fix it.

I will remember to reward keen eyes when a full version will be ready :)

:) Hi there, in next patch I am planning to increase number of bullets for each weapon level-up progress tree. That should improved a bit "bullet hell" experience and help to deal with enemy hell.

Hello everyone,

Nebula Demo is available for a past couple of months now and recently it has been updated with few patches. If you want to get some Roguelike Space Shooting experience, give it a try.

https://jutek-pixel.itch.io/nebula

Nebula is a single player, 2D shooter where you will have to cut through hundreds of  invaders on each of your missions. Collect scraps and gears, build up your arsenal and power-ups to survive hordes of attacking enemies.

Game supports Controllers,  Keyboard and Mouse.

In this demo you can find:

  • Two maps with a different difficulty level.
  • 17 weapons and 5 skills to be upgraded in Hangar.
  • Five type of spaceships that can be  chosen, every one with different main weapon and some bonuses.
  • Tons of enemies to destroy.

Experiment with different weapons and upgrades to find setup that suits you best.

Have Fun!

Hello everyone,

I have been working on a Nebula game from April this year and a demo is available for a past couple of months.

https://jutek-pixel.itch.io/nebula

I am still working on balancing and adding new content to the game, so there is a chance to implement changes and new ideas. I have obviously spend tons of hours playing and testing Nebula so I think i have lost an objective view on a game-play already therefore I would like to ask for your help, comments, remarks literately any feedback will be welcome.  What I am curious about is  how the game play feel. Is it to easy or to hard at the begging, to few bullets or to many enemies. Should game be faster or maybe slower, levelling progress is to strong or too weak etc.?

Thank you in advance for your support!

Dev.

There is really cool video on YouTube featuring Nebula Demo gameplay

Thanks for a feedback :)

I was a bit off from PC for a past few weeks but I am coming back soon with some new ideas how to spice up the game play. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will be able to present update version, keep a fingers crossed.

I've changed the steering of the weapon to allow to use second stick for aiming. So now we have this sexy crosshair (works with Gamepad and Mouse as well)

It might be a bit easier at the begging therefore I've increased spawning speed in a late game :)

Thanks! Kind of cool feeling when I see how the other people play the game I've been working on for a past few months :)

Thanks for this awesome asset, I really love it. I have adopted some of the icons in a my new game space shooter Nebula - https://jutek-pixel.itch.io/nebula

Some of the icons are just so universal they really can be used in any genre.

This font is super! I have use it as well in my small game Nebula. Thanks!

Hello there,

This asset is super cool, I have use it in my game Nebula and I really like the look of the game background.

https://jutek-pixel.itch.io/nebula

I got my hands also on a Planet Generator which I have used as well, amazing assets. Thanks.

Hello, this is really nice tool. I have an idea for a space game and I was looking for something like this. I Hope you don't mind if I use it to create few backgrounds.

Thanks, much appreciated. Hope I can deliver some other decent assets in a future :)

Hello!

Finally my first commercial project is out and available on itch.io.  Hope you will have fun playing it. You can try a demo before if you want to.

Ballsy

Ballsy Demo

Ballsy is a short action game where you need to help a player to get through few dungeons and finally get access to the heaven.

Dungeons are randomly generated and there is quite a lot of items to discover and collect. Have Fun!

Cheers from JuTek Pixel!

Hi again, I have finally compiled demo of my small project. All the mobs in a game are basing on this asset and I really like it :)

Ballsy Demo

Hello, this asset is super nice. I have used some of the sprites in my fist project and it looks really cool.
