I’m really sorry you fell into that hole it was simply my mistake while trying to tweak the navmesh. I ended up modifying the ground asset and it created a hole. I think you were still able to see the main parts of the game though, and thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for your detailed feedback it’s really nice to see people taking the time to share a thoughtful, well-structured opinion like yours.

A lot of people enjoyed the flashlight mechanic, and I’m really happy about that especially since it wasn’t planned at all. At first, it was supposed to be a simple flaming torch, but I struggled so much to make a clean flame VFX that I switched to a flashlight… and that’s how the idea came up.

I like doing everything myself: that’s honestly what I find most interesting about taking part in a game jam. My biggest weakness and what I need to work on is pre-production: defining a clear scope that isn’t too ambitious, and sticking to my deadlines so I still have time to polish.

Thanks for your message. The game’s ambition, combined with my desire to do everything myself, meant I had to cut a lot of things from it. I think my biggest challenge now is learning to scope better while still continuing to do everything myself.

A lote of really good ideas of gameplay, the level design is really good too i was never lost. I'm really impressed by a lot of your mechanics like the drawing or the key. Nice game !

Very original, I like it !

That was very good, i like the ideas to play with the socks, and the music is good

Hello thanks for your comment and I don't think that i'm gonna finish it but yeah maybe making a new game with this mechanic is an option

Oh i'm so sorry about that... At the end I change some ground asset because of the navmesh and maybe in the rush i probably miss some... Thanks for playing it and for the com

Thank you !

This is, for now, the most polished game I’ve played. It’s truly excellent  it could clearly be a much more ambitious, larger-scale project. Every aspect is carefully crafted. At first, I had a hard time understanding how the mirror and the radar worked; I almost quit the game, but thankfully I stuck with it and I absolutely didn’t regret it  I went all the way to the end. What a pleasure! Just bravo!

Very good diversity of gameplay, that's a really good game

I'm on firefox, i used chrome and it works It would’ve been a shame not to see these… big… “NOSE”… things. The mobs embody the theme all by themselves… An exceptional design. GG on the game.

I don't know why but the game is not running on my browser...

I spent a good 5 minutes dodging the arrow while trying to get past the two tight little obstacles, but I couldn’t manage it lol. Sorry I didn’t get further it’s just a bit too hard for me.

Wow, I’m really impressed by the work you put in. I really like the art directionthere are several gameplay phases, and for a point-and-click that’s really appreciable, especially in a game jam… Honestly, just well done!

Thanks for playing. I’m happy you liked the atmosphere

Congratulations on shipping something  it runs well on my end : I’m on Firefox.

Nice controls and feeling

Very.... Strange :p ! GG it was good !

I don't understand how it works, or maybe i'm stuck in a bug i don't know

It’s really a high-quality game in every aspect; it’s very well balanced. I really like the graphics and the sound atmosphere even the background on the itch.io page looks super stylish. GG.

Really original !

I really like the visuals GG !

Not bad. The camera view might be a bit too zoomed in, so it’s hard to tell whether there are enemies above or below. I think that in a bullet hell, it’s crucial to have a view that lets you see ahead of time whether enemies are coming or not.

Also, the spawning: sometimes you spawn in places where enemies are really close—sometimes you’re even boxed in and you have no choice but to take damage. It would’ve been good to anticipate that and either give a few frames of invincibility or make it so enemies wait a couple of seconds before spawning.

Otherwise, it’s really good GG.

I really love this game, so much variety in the gameplay, i solve all the puzzle, that was nice !

I really love this game, so much variety in the gameplay, i solve all the puzzle, that was nice !

The music is awesome !

I really love your game congratulations !!

I couldn't make the boss fight, i had a bug or you didn't finish it ? Except from that the idea is cool but too easy. I like the progression line made in the " map ". Nice job

thanks !

I like it, it's original it remind me paper please.

But i try multiples times i didn't understand why sometimes i was wrong.

I know that when i receive a message that ask me to accept someone i have to refuse that person ( or accept to win more money but i lose a life )
Except from that i look at the mail to see if it's correspond, and the name idem ( but i think it's not like paper please so this is never different ).

So for example i though that person who worked in pizza were in pizzaOS so if i refuse a pizza guy on pirateOS or HackedOS it will work and sometime it worked sometimes no, i look at the @ too but I don't understand. I don't know maybe it's me but i think you could put more clues to indicate which informations is important to know if it's a hacker or not.

Except from that, the graphics are very nice i love the effect of the screen, good sound design. So congratulations !

(1 edit)

32 minutes ! I think i'm very bad ahah

For the moment i think it's my favourite game, original, it works perfectly, the graphics are very good, with good animations. The UI give all the informations of what's you need.

It miss some music and sound effect, specialy because the goal takes time, a little music in the background could be useful

Congratulations !

Thank you, i'm really happy that you like it !

Thanks !

After you touch the lever, the cannon ball appears near at the right, so when you take it you go back to the boat area ( I think is what you call the menu I think it's the worst part of my game) but now you have cannon ball to shoot ( with right click and change size of the shoot with left or right arrow) and to destroy rocks, to have access to the chest and it's the end, with a simple victory screen.

The problem is that I give up all the UI part so because of that there is confusions about what to do and what happen in the game,  and i coul'd put a sound effect on the loot of the cannon ball too.

Thank's for the review !

Thanks for your advices !

You are absolutely right about all of that, if you want to know, 1 hour before i published the game there hasn't the possibility to change the canon ship, because at first at wanted to do a lot of UI things to know i you have ammo, where the canon is targeting... but the UI part was very complicated to me so i decided to give up that.

And for the big boat, I knew that some people wouldn't understand. I thought that making it flash would be enough. I hope it doesn't discourage some because the majority of the work was done on the "platformer" part, but even then, initially, I wanted to do something with the UI.

But to be honest, I don't know if I'll go any further with this game. It was a great experience for me, but because I'm a lazy person and I do everything at the last moment, I had to code very messily, and I don't feel like getting back into this mess, haha.

But thank you for your comment, it's very helpful!

I really like your game, it's very fun, i finished the Treasure Island it was cool. But the rapids are really hard but i know that i can finish it and i think that feeling is good when you play video game.

NIce work !

Thanks ! I spent a lot of time yes, but i made 80% of the game in the last 24hours i didn't sleep because of my bad habit to do everything in the last minutes, i planned everything to work progresslively and to code properly, but no ! i prefere to be under pressure ahah so the code is very very messy.

At the end i didn't care about everything, but i'm happy to "finish" it , i have a lot of work to do in pixel art, i'm happy for some sprite and some are very bad, the part where you control the boat is very ugly but it's ok.

Now that i have made my first game i think that i will understand more things with tutorial that i'll watch and i know that gamejam are the best thing to be better.

Thanks for your comment friend !
