First off, love the N64 vibes in this game.

Favorite thing:
The obstacles variety, feels like something that would be in sm64, enjoyed the level design a lot.

Least favorite thing:
As others already pointed out, camera controls need some love and attention, struggled to keep the camera steady, an option to invert it would be nice.

What else would i add:
One thing that comes to mind is a boss fight. Not sure how well it would fit the jam entry, but if you want to improve the game further, that would be a neat addition i think.

Thank you for feedback, really glad you enjoyed the game!

We went for the switching control from snake to mouse so that the player better feels the "roles reversed" theme, sorry if it caused confusion.

Getting to the end of the level without getting all the mice is intentional too, we wanted to make them a cool collectible, like strawberries in Celeste, which are not required for completion, but are a cool extra challenge for those of players who want one.

As for the indication of an exit, in the new version, the exit is actually additionally highlighted with text. Not sure if that's what you meant, but it seems like a relatively solid indication of where to go.

As for the showcase image, yeah, we could've picked something more in-line with the game itself. We just went with a cool snake, cause it felt like a fitting pic.

Once again, thanks for feedback, really appreciate it. :)

The idea is cool, a bullet hell game where you make the enemies shoot each other.

Sometimes bullets are tough to avoid tho, maybe slowing them down a bit would make things easier.

Other than that, it's a fun experience overall :D

Graphics work is awesome, altho the game is quite demanding, fps was a bit lacking on my machine.
The controls are a bit weird, with the qwsd layout, would make a bit more sense to have camera rotation on q/e, but that's my opinion.
Puzzles are nice, once you figure out the controls, took me quite a bit of time to do that. After that, everything is pretty straightforward, the rules are very much readable from environment.

A nice little puzzle game, the rules are clear from the start, but the gameplay could have a bit more variety to it. e.g. You could have slopes, over which the blocks would slide, or more block types, with different gravity rules, like a block that only rotates over a certain point.

But that's just ideas on expanding what is still, an enjoyable experience as it is. Maybe it needs a bit more polish, graphically speaking

Nice entry! Mouse holes are a little OP, but really fun to use. Powerups are also a great addition, it's a shame i didn't though of adding them to my game.
Still, very enjoyable!

Thanks for playing! Really glad you liked it :)
If you want to, we could discuss more ideas on how to improve our concept in discord

A really nice little game. It's simple, but creative and hits the theme spot-on. But customers' wallets don't seem to change after they bet, which is a bit strange.
Other than that the game is pretty polished for a jam title, good job! 5/5 easily

Love the creative approach to the theme. In most entries you reverse the roles with the enemy, but here you are roles reversed with the dev himself.
10/10 idea, great artwork and the ui being a part of the game world is also nice
Had loads of fun playing it, thank you

I had a similar idea, really liked your implementation tho. Figured it makes more sense to run around as a mouse or a rabbit, could've used it in my game.
Still, a great submission! Had a lot of fun :D

Good concept, but would love to see a way to lose as well. Pretty fun game otherwise, nice entry!

Great game, loved the idea with roles being theatrical roles, and the effects they have on the environment.

Fun little game, playing as the goomba is pretty cool. But it'd be nice to be able to damage mario by jumping on him too, it's a shame it wasn't implemented.
Still a nice entry!

Really nice little puzzle game, the limitation of only using one type of input at a time makes it pretty challenging.
Good entry!

Thank you for playing! Glad you had fun, altho i realize that i could've balanced it better.
As for the 0 score win, you probably got lucky and a wall landed right onto the snake's head. It is indeed pretty confusing :P

Great idea, but hiding from all the cameras is pretty tricky. Would be nice to have a bit more little safe zones, like boxes/obstacles to hide behind.
Music is really nice tho, and overall, it's a neat entry, hope to see this as a full game someday!

Absolutely love the retro aesthetics, well done there. The snake is a little OP as it's able to fly over the whole level, but stunning it and running in loops across the maze is still really fun.
Awesome entry!

The idea reminds me of VVVVVV, but it also works for roles reversed quite well. The controls were a bit confusing at first, but after i realized you can hold the buttons for quicker jumps, it was a sweet.
Nice entry!

Nice idea, this was really fun. Almost lost to the ramp on the final level, but managed to land on the opposite side and saved the game :D
Has loads of potential with some additional goals like keeping the air time low

A nice idea, but could get more love in terms of mechanics. Still pretty fun to watch as player tries to hide :D

Cool idea, it's actually pretty relaxing, driving around the city. The minimap was a little confusing at first, but then it made sense that the viewport really should follow the cursor for this to work.
Overall, a nice entry!

Thanks for playing! Wanted to get players familiar with how stones work, that's why you start as a snake. But I'll make sure to make this tutorial appear only once in the full version. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing! Yeah, I didn't think of a way of losing in the second stage, so it only comes down to keeping the deathcount low. Glad you still had fun!

Clever idea! Makes you think as a programmer would, it's actually more of a memory game than an RPG one. But still a very enjoyable experience

Thanks for playing! Sorry for making the snake too smart :P Glad you still enjoyed it.
