Loved it! Good stuff having it playable in browser, I've never done that I should give it a go. Can't wait to see what you do next!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I loved doing the SFX and the art, first time doing those parts myself and I’m really happy with how they turned out!

I really enjoyed my time with it! If I had more time I would have done something a bit more experimental with mine, but since I've never done pixel art I decided to do the gameplay pretty basic using a system I experimented with a lil while ago for the controls so I could focus on all the other game dev parts haha. I'd appreciate any feedback you would have if you have a chance :)

The presentation and story were really well done! The movement was a bit confusing at first, but I figured it out and was surprised how 'bag in the wind' it felt. I will say that tapping so much hurt my hand, so maybe a constant 'breeze' sort of force applied to the bag while you hold down the button would help. But other than that, really well presented, the island and the inhabitants were cool, the trees were monochrome / black and white for me, and the whole 'collide with anything and restart' was a bit ruff so I stayed high in the air most of the time. I would also say that 'savages' has a fair bit of connotation in it as well. but other than that you should be really proud about making something so big in such a short time!

This is so well made! The SFX, music, movement, theme and gameplay were all great! I loved the energy / cinematic nature of shooting the other balloons with it slowing down and then exploding! So much fun to just fly around and collect as much as you can to clean the place up. Really good, massive effort, great job!

Had a bug where my hand disappeared when dumping the trash in the chute. I loved the aesthetic and presentation, the models, textures, materials etc were cohesive and felt like a real world. The see through effect was a great touch. Would have loved some sound / music, but other than that really well done!

Nice idea, would have loved the movement to have more weight or speed to it, carry momentum instead of getting stuck on stairs. But nice idea :)

The movement was super creative! Using the mouse buttons alternatively as you skate gave me some really nice moments of flow when I had a nice line to follow. When we get up to speed however, it can be hard to turn even when timing the left rights with the skate and taking advantage of that mechanic. Some polish and this movement style has so much potential for an entire game to be built around it. Great job and the environment and aesthetic felt cohesive.

Great potential and the driving mechanic itself was good, but the collisions really dampened the flow of the actual driving unfortunately. The audio balance on the boost sfx could be dialled back a bit and everything smoothed over a bit but other than that really good bones! Wasn't able to try multiplayer but I could see how it would be super fun! Again, really good work on the actual driving mechanics!

Good one! I loved the cute aesthetic and the perspective of the kelp in the foreground / background gave it good depth... hehe. UI and things like that would be my only critique. The linerenderer  (or however you did the fishing line where it tracks where you go then reel up that line again) was a really cool use of it! I loved doing squiggly lines down and watch it automatically do them on the way up with a fishy.

The audio and voice over were funny and felt good for the universe haha. The animation / poses the dancers were striking and the environment worked really well! I just wasn't fast enough to keep up with the variety of inputs that were asked, but a slower level to start before the non-tutorial would help smooth that transition over a bit. Really good one!

Good endless runner layout! That's the hardest part tbh, making it hard but not too hard, but you did it well! With some music, SFX, and (for me at least) a smoother camera / framerate, super solid game! Very impressed with the simple but effective set dressing and trashalanche! Good one!

Those minigames were great! I love throwing different ways of interacting with the gameworld in to showcase different ideas and tools intuitively. The story was simple but effective, the environment could have been a bit bigger, but digsites can be quite cramped so I think it still works. All in all a really creative game and story, with engaging mechanics that keep you interested to see what's next. Great job!

Loved the art! Flinders St all dilapidated and rundown, moving up through the higher level and through the building made it so worth while! Such a good time, would love to see where this goes if you continue working on it. Already a nice time if you can round out some edges on it :)

Just the amount of dialogue and the quality alone would make this game top tier, then the art and design of the world just put it over, there's just so much here! With a lil smoothing around the edges, would be a really great time. So much here and I wish I could've got further, but my suction cannon didn't work D:

For a small team, first jam, AND first time using Unity this is really well done! I'd love to know how the build system was going to work, but just the flying / shooting was setup well enough to be fun! A bit of refinement / scope management and I'd love to see what this game can be :)

The character design for both Nomnom and the player character were perfect! The details on Nomnom and the animations for the character are so well thought out and cute.  The camera is placed just a bit high for my taste as I found I was off the bottom of the screen a fair bit, but the design idea of the giant moving platform that you have to jump on and off of ahh so good I loved it!

The slime is awesome, would love to know how you made it! The vibe is nice, would have loved a background / backdrop to give it some depth, but other than that a really good one!

Nice Vampire Survivor style game, wish I could aim my gun but other than that a good time.

The files are listed as 'FIT3145 Assignment 1' and may not have been made for this game jam. The theme is also not represented. Other than that a good enter the gungeon clone especially for a student project.

Cute and funny, loved the environment!

The papers please comparison is appropriate, not derivative in any way but definitely inspired either directly or indirectly for the better

Got the mansion in 28 days, and had a blast doing it! Such a cohesive aesthetic, gameplay was fun and challenging trying to only grab one type of trash while avoiding others, and the upgrades / progression felt meaningful and also changed the experience enough to keep it fresh. Seriously one of my faves this jam, great work you should be proud! :)

Amazing work, especially in such a short amount of time. Those cinematic camera work to show the coffee were great for clearly communicating the objective. Great job!

The inner machinations of the way we deal with trash are explored in this short experience where as soon as we throw something away, more comes in. Surprisingly deep for such as short but impactful game. Good one!

Actually phenomenal. The concept, presentation, gameplay, everything really leaned into the theme and the gameplay was great (once I found that last turtle)! The only thing I'd want to improve is the jittering of the follower turtles, but if that's the only thing then y'all have done some amazing work, 5 stars!

Cute one! The animation and set design were a real vibe. It pretty quickly cut away when I got to the water so I would've loved to get to see it a bit more, but other than that a good time!

The junkyard and all the objects within it created a great atmosphere, and the slow movement gave plenty of time to appreciate it while leaning into the pieced together nature of the protagonist. The choice at the end and the presentation of the finale was a great touch that gave some emotional weight to the story. Good one!

Firstly, this is a truly unique and interesting setting, especially since it was made in only two weeks, fantastic work by the team! I can sort of see it relating to the theme, but to be honest I found it very hard to play enough of before I had to stop. I got the light and the artefact but it was so oppressively dark that it went beyond atmosphere and into unplayable. From what I could see it looked interesting and ambitious, but yeah I just couldn't see the walls in front of me until I was touching them.

If you update it or do a lighting pass, I would love to see the rest of it, really good job creating something so unique in aesthetic and grand in scale, you could be proud! :)

Loved the shooting mechanic, gave it a good level of difficulty especially towards the end. All the different types of trash and the bins moving around the play really kept me on my toes!

Love the character design for Gerald! Cute but powerful

Thanks so much for playing, the koalas were my favourite as well :) Also please remember to rate if you haven't already

That makes sense, I'll give it another go as I missed that prompt on the shelter!

So cute! The environment is perfect and I love rays so the main character is adorable. The whirlpool mechanic is awesome, would have loved some sound / music though. All in all though really nice!

Good one! Not too many story / character based games in this jam, good to see some variety. I liked the story but couldn't figure out how to make a fire? Would give it another go if I did :)

Awesome design and aesthetic, especially for a solo project! Would love to have the throw on RMB or similar and maybe a sprint!

Love the environments but felt very slow, would love to give it another go if I missed something :)

Love the conveyer belt, always a good thing to see. So hectic trying to run around and grab everything and put it on to craft, so fun!

So cute, so chill! Lovely art and aesthetic <3
